Fox News Digital investigation identifies a sprawling network of communist organizations, socialist political movements, labor unions and international activists helping organize, support and amplify protests that began over school conditions.
The demonstrations have grown into a nationwide confrontation, with riots, looting and attacks on public buildings. Now, an international coalition is mobilizing young people for another wave of protests across Europe.
And the connections extend well beyond France. See who's involved and how the network operates

If you replaced the water cannons on those vehicles with .50 cal turrets then progress could really be made

There will be no Marxist takeover of a Western country via force. It won't happen.
It may happen over time at the ballot box, but there is a 0% chance of a forceful takeover. Even if France's government was overwhelmed, the UK, US, Germany, etc. would never let that happen.
come on man. i know you are legitimately a smart and educated dude, and that mostly you just like antagonizing people on here. but you are being entirely intellectually dishonest with this argument and i think you know it.
you are correct that violent radical left / revolutionary riots never (or rarely) have the goal of physically taking over a country as an objective of the riot. the goal is always to destablize and therefore delegitimize standing political, cultural, and institutional structures in order to manipulate the population into looking for alternative solutions. and this is where the radical Left / Marxists step in as the "reasonable" alternative.
so yeah, "it may happen over time" as you stated in your post, but that "may happen over time" is a DIRECT RESULT and the goal of all of this.

French police have encountered rioters and looters armed with AK47s and Scorpion submachine guns on the streets of Paris, Marseille and Lyon.
The information comes from the Le Journal du Dimanche journalist Laura Tchekov, who says that her newspaper has received this information from sources within the DGSI, France’s main internal security agency.
The weapons were carried by minors and young adults described as being part of organized crime groups but sometimes also close to the Islamist movement in France.
The journalist says that not all armed
rioters were arrested and that several of them remain on free foot.
It’s believed that police officers refrained from making arrests as they thought they could be both outmanned and outgunned at the moment and that hundreds of people were on the streets, creating a risk of a shoot-out that could have resulted in a large number of wounded and dead.

Much ado about nothing, bro. If you don't believe me you're just not educated in these matters, bro.

If tweet fails to load, click here. All French students carry these types of weapons. Nothing to see here. Still a “totally organic” student protest.

Second- and third-generation French migrants are mass-posting memes featuring Ayatollah Khomeini. Using AI, they translated his 1979 speech, promising free water, electricity, and bus rides, from Persian into French.
He gave it on February 1, 1979, at Behesht-e Zahra after returning from exile in Paris: “We will make water and electricity free for the poor. We will make bus travel free…”
Interesting fact: Those social and economic promises were never kept. The speech itself became the main symbol of the Islamic regime’s false promises, serving as brainwashing propaganda.
