No, dumbass. ISIS said the border doesn't exist. Pay attention.

Not trying to be a dick. Just looking for clarification.

Are you seriously comparing a plane to an individual?

We have these things called 'radars'. I'm PRETTY sure we would know if a plane took off from that runway.

That dude was a private citizen who voluntarily went to an extremely dangerous area.

How is his death a threat to the US?

I would.

Dude was a dumbass for being in a warzone.

Part of being a war correspondent is recognizing the danger and getting the hell out before the shite starts.

This guy didn't.

It's a lot like back in the 80s where the peaceful Palestinians were kidnapping Americans and Europeans. My whole thought at the time was the same.

Idiot, don't be in a place where they hate your guts and you won't get killed.

Pretty simple actually.

Oh good, you rely on delusional groups to dictate political geography-- somehow I think Iraq, Syria, Turkey and you know every major country in the region disagree's with them.

no threat

I don't know the Mig 21 was a pretty decent threat in Viet...wait its not the late 60s anymore? No, no its not a threat.

And besides, ISIL could have a fleet of F-22s and a squadron of B-2s and they wouldn't be a threat-- planes don't matter if you don't have pilots.

Yes, Ranger Batt. primarily consists of 11B's (Infantry). They are light Infantry (Airborne) and specialize in airfield seizures.

Two words...

"Dirty bomb"

With their resources, several could easily be made piecemeal in Mexico and "walked" across the border.

You really believe it's easy to acquire nuclear material, transport it to Mexico from the ME or wherever, then assemble a bomb in secret then transport said nuclear weapon through Mexico across another international border which is heavily patrolled despite what this board believes and then through the states to some city for detonation?

And to what end? Complete annihilation of their army and proto-state?
