Maybe I should get my phd in psychology. The thesis is right here, centered on the absolute mindless following of a paid Muslim shill.

Why wouldn’t they be our best ally? We invade any country that threatens them geo-politically, and we give them billions of dollars to buy weapons from us essentially for free. In high school, I would absolutely want to be best friends with a dude who beats up anyone I don’t like and pays for all my nice stuff.

The problem is we’re that friend. Why are we giving them so much money? Why are we prioritizing defeating their enemies rather than ours? Do we only have enemies because we’re fighting Israel’s enemies? It just doesn’t seem like a 50/50 ir even 80/20 relationship. What are we getting out of this “bff’s” relationship we have with Israel? I’m not saying we should break up, but maybe they don’t need our money, and maybe they’re perfectly capable of fighting their own wars. Maybe we should look into dialing back our investment so that the relationship isn’t so one-sided anymore?

If they weren’t as strong of an ally as they are, they’d be treated like the UK or France.

For us to wage war and defend ourselves we have to have a strong weapons complex. We alone do not have the capacity to purchase/store enough weapons to keep the industry in business and healthy. We need them to be there when we need them. Like now, we are expending our stockpiles and if no one was spun up to replenish them then China could take Taiwan and the rest of the Pacific.

Also, our allies require weapons. If we don’t sell them ours, they will go to our adversaries to buy theirs. Now they have economic ties to our adversary. That’s bad for us.

The MIC and Israel have been in a symbiotic relationship for so long that they have essentially fused together as a joint lobby. Its why all the neocons are rabidly pro Israel.

Another element of the munitions logitics you were mentioning is that some of our bombs/missiles have a shelf life before they either have to be refurbished or completely disassembled. Its obviously a much better deal to sell them, and we are unlikely to be able to stay conflict ready without these weapons finding a new home before they expire. So we manufacture "wars" to unload them.
