The irony, Austin guts their police dept, and on cue, they get a mass shooting

As my neighbor used to say.."God dont like ugly".
Lets hope they live.
I would be interested to see if Austin calls surrounding police depts for assistance, wouldnt doubt it, shameless pricks.
The sad thing is, as the crime has risen (not just this shooting), the people who wanted less police presence will never link it to the crime, it will be lack of mental care, police not caring, and innumerable other things, but they honestly will not see the true connection.

I get what you are saying - crazy is gonna crazy.
But the evidence doesn't support that theory if you look at the large majority of mass shooting incidents. Schools, theaters, college campuses, and other "gun free zones" are targeted over 80% of the time.
