Walz and Fey are dying (or wanting protestors to die) for POTUS to invoke Insurrection Act. Trump is not taking the bait
I can’t say what the right course of action is but clearly Trump is in no hurry.

It doesn't take a political strategist to understand how bad the optics of this look.
I truly want every single illegal either to do it legally, or to gtfo.
However, you need to prioritize living up those criminal offenders, plaster their offenses all over, inundated the public with their crimes, to the point that it overwhelms.
Picking up the gardener and his 3 year old child, is awful optics, even if it's legally correct. Humans have an innate sympathetic nature.
Whoever is advising Trump is wrong, or intentionally sabotaging the administration.

The lines are already drawn domestically, and what they're doing in Mogadishu North is only hurting their cause instead of advancing it. In spite of the highly coordinated barrage of leftist propaganda absolutely flooding the media and socials, what I'm seeing in the real world is a bunch of people with political enervation that are sick of being gaslit and distracted while being utterly fleeced and robbed blind at every turn.
Best to just let Walz get his own state to calm down and take all the credit for it, though he caused it to begin with, because no matter what Trump does or doesn't do, he's still "LiTeRaLLy HiTLeR!!1!"

Not sure there is an exit strategy to upholding just federal law. I'm thinking they slowly direct assets to other areas if needed but I don't think he should order a pullout or stop to enforcement. I'd also shift the focus over to the FBI more and start to go after those who are organizing the violence and fraud.
