It was apparent but now obvious that power and sex coincide. Our powerful (leadership) is not of Jesus.

How much longer will conservatives be able to trick their constituents?

This is like a real-life "The Campaign". Yes, I know he was a democrat...not the point.

Look, anyone that WANTS to be a politician,is probably someone that shouldn't get to be one. That goes for all of them. They don't get into the game to help anybody but themselves.

Even if conservative politicians are just nominally Christian, it’s a lot better than voting for progressive politicians who don’t want to conserve Christian values at all.

These days all we can hope for is that our politicians not be criminals and vote the right way.

Christians are a forgiving demographic. Running as a Christian means you should be held to a higher standard and show actual and believable remorse and repentance when you screw up. That sort of standard is not easy to sustain if you are just faking it.

This is a very eloquent way to say what the people in Alabama are saying when they claim they'd rather vote for a child molester who is conservative than vote for a liberal democrat.

You must have some evidence that no one else on Earth has. Either that or you work for Gloria Alred.

Conservatives don't have any Christian values or morals at all. How is supporting a pedophile conserving Christian values dumbass? God wouldn't have anything to do with you idiots. Newt Gingrinch ran around spouting family values while he was cheating on his wife while she was fighting for her life with cancer. Then he had the callousness to dump her while in the hospital. He even tried to annul that marriage, despite being married to her for a long time, as well as having two children. Imagine how they felt. Then he ran around on another wife and dumped her too.

The difference between liberals and conservatives is they don't run around thumping the Bible while touting Christian values the way conservatives do.

Short term, yes. The Bible says "by their fruits you shall know them", meaning a Christian will demonstrate their faith by how they at. There are a lot of people that call themselves Christians that will be in Hell when they die because they've taken on Christ's name but not His faith, through tradition or association with "good" people, or other various reasons.

But like I said, it's hard to sustain over time because it will become obvious at some point that a person isn't really repentant of their sins or putting Christ first in their lives.
