Here is how the principal, as a community leader, analyzed the situation:

Will more people in this school district be mad at me for firing her rather than keeping her on?

[YES] NO - Ok, I will support her despite the fact that she is caught on tape mocking the murder of a young father and teaches elementary aged kids.

It’s a pretty crazy stance to say a teacher promoting political violence…all the way to murder isn’t a fireable offense when that person will clearly be involved with children and parents who disagree with her politically.

The children are clearly at risk for not being treated fairly and potentially at risk from a physical standpoint.

The parents have no comfort in either situation.

Some of you leftists are bat shite crazy. Any teacher MAGA or not who indicates support for killing people for political reasons has no place in the classroom.

He is. He just goes way out of his way to appear fair and reasonable, so much so that he ends up arguing with people he agrees with on 98% of things.
