Donald Trump won 76% of counties w/ a Cracker Barrel & 22% of counties w/ a Whole Foods -- a 54% gap.

In '92, gap b/t same counties was 19%.

Translation: Its the major cities against the rest of America.

This illustrates the importance of the electoral college.

We aren't electing the mayor of Chicago New York and LA and people in those cities have absolutely no clue of what the needs and values of tupelo Mississippi or Hershey Pennsylvania and vice versa.

Under the current model, sure, but If the electoral college was eliminated, the campaigning would look a lot different. You'd see Trump in California, New York, Illinois, etc. much more often, and no one would give two shits about New Hampshire.

Not relevant. They used the same counties without that qualifier.
