Jesse Kelly is right, as usual.

GOP,

Dem hysteria over the Florida bill is not something you should be on defense about. It is an opportunity for you to play OFFENSE. They’re openly wanting to teach 6 year olds about sex. Every Republican in America should be running ads about it.

Offense. Find your guts.

GOP: “I hope they don’t ask me about the Florida bill. I don’t want to sound hateful.”

Anti-Communists: “Thank goodness these sick freaks are exposing themselves over the Florida bill. Here’s a six figure ad buy telling everyone about how gross they are.”

Parents in this country, even many Democrat parents, do NOT want their kindergarteners learning about sex in school.

Republicans, you have everything on your side on this issue. Do not avoid it. Run on it. Demand your opponent respond to questions about it.

Call them groomers and pedophiles if they oppose it. Put THEM on the defensive. Make THEM afraid. Make THEM avoid talking about it.

You have the high ground. Use it to destroy your enemy.

This whole thing cracks me up.

There's a movie rating system in place because society has decided kids of a certain age should not be exposed to certain topics/subject matter/images (X, NC-17) or only with the consent of a parent/guardian (R, PG-13). This is in place because parents cannot be everywhere all the time and have to rely upon others to carry out their decision that their child is not to be exposed to such things.

This is no different.

They are graduating kids that can't read and that doesn't matter.

But stop them from teaching 4 yr olds about lgbtq and teachers lose their shite.

"The bill that liberals inaccurately call 'Don't Say Gay' would be more accurately described as an Anti-Grooming Bill," Pushaw tweeted on Friday.

"If you're against the Anti-Grooming bill, you are probably a groomer or at least you don't denounce the grooming of 4-8-year-old children."

In response, Carlos G. Smith, a Democratic Florida state representative who is gay, called on Pushaw to resign.

"DeSantis' spokesperson openly accused opponents of Don't Say Gay of being 'groomers'— aka PEDOPHILES," Smith tweeted.

Conversation at my local happy hour with a libtard neighbor -

Her: "How can you support Ron DeSantis? He just signed the 'Don't Say Gay' bill."

Me: "That's not what it's called."

Her: "My God, haven't you been watching the news?"

Me: "Yes....yes I have....and you should stop doing that."

Her: "You're just an ignorant homophobe."

Me: "Have you read the bill?"

Her: "No."

Me: "We are done here."

The bill is kindergardner to 3rd Grade. No, the bill should eliminate sex education from schools altogether. The state should not be teaching sex at all to our children. That is not any of government's business.

People that want elementary school boys fondling each other should swing from a rope.

I have this thing I do now where I warn them ahead of time. Calling me racist etc is no different than calling a POC the N word. You call me that at anytime. I'll knock your pussy arse out.

I haven't had to hit one yet and they usually leave me alone. They're nothing more than spoiled children who we let run unchecked. Its time to make testosterone great again

This really is crazy and just more of the same from Republicans bad PR.

HoW hard is it to rally the cause that we don’t want 6-9 year old to learn about homosexual relationships. I don’t even want 6-9 year olds to learn about heterosexual relationships.... when did we stop just teaching kids math, English, and history. We send kids to school to learn those things, keep the other weird BS for your weirdo conventions with ADULTS

Can they promise to do for our kids in sex what they did with math, reading, and science? I mean we are really knocking it out of the park in those areas, and some of the teachers actually have degrees in them.

Every state and every Governor have a perfect example to follow (FL & DeSantis) but unfortunately too many won't.

Thanks.

To carry it further, why are parents able to "control" the content to which their children are exposed (parental controls on TVs, wifi routers, smartphones), but yet it is completely unreasonable for them to have the same control about such content in schools?

Again, we're not talking about middle school and high school, but pre-k through 3rd fricking grade!

So Carlos is definitely a groomer.

It's not. The people saying it is are child predators. Anyone pushing their opinions is a child predator and should be run out of society.

But it is okay that they are such a protected class that they can be called queers?
