you really don't understand that europe has no military, all of trumps biotching about their NATO spending that's not just rhetoric. UK has 136 fighter aircraft, 1000 eurofighter typhoons and 30 f35's with 6 more on order.

Seems like if Europe were as concerned as they pretend to be about a Russian threat, they would have been rectifying that situation.

There’s really people out there that think Putin just wakes up every morning thinking about what country to invade.

It’s globalist propaganda and stupid people believe it.

Russia isnt overwhelming Ukraine, they would stand no chance vs a Western European country.

Germany has around 300 tanks and maybe 30(?) airworthy fighters at last report.

Poland has a larger military than Germany.

Saying that, Putin isn't invading Western Europe.

Putin has said the exact opposite. Listen to the Tucker interview

Putin is also a well documented liar. Hell, he's changed his tune multiple times on why he invaded Ukraine.

It all stemmed from a comment he made at the start of the invasion of Ukraine that was most likely taken out of proportion. Basically he said that any people that were formally part of Russia should be allowed to rejoin Russia and Russia would do whatever it takes to support that. People essentially took this as him saying that he was planning on taking back all former Soviet countries

Obama was specifically hands off with Ukraine, even allowing Russia to illegally seize Crimea. He was not quiet about his belief that he didn't believe in the costs of intervention.

I think he is talking about the CIA doing things under cover under Obama.

Also interesting all these neo con libs didn’t cry so hard about Obama acknowledging the price to pay for intervention was too much.

So many threads it’s hard to keep up. But stated goals have little to do with the concerns.

As I posted I’m another thread

European leaders have been taking the lead on staunchly backing Ukraine, not following Trump’s lead.

On its face, you have to think it’s because they lived through it already. UK and France learned the lesson that the policy of appeasement over the German occupation of the Sudetenland blew up in their face leading up to WWII.

Germany justified their demands by claiming the Sudetenland were ethnically German so it should be annexed by Germany. The UK and France wanted to appease Hitler thinking that would result in peace, and told the Czechs to fight Germany alone or to submit.

The rest is history, as Germany annexed the rest of Czechoslovakia within 6 months. Then continued onward throughout Europe after that.

So my theory is that it seems all too familiar of a pattern for them now. And they don’t want to repeat the same mistakes made by Chamberlain and Daladier.

It was a globalist mission from the start. Russia is in on it. Either way, Russia wins.

Yes it hurts the "CIA-backed coup" theory bigly, I agree.

I did kind of lay out how that doesn't make much sense in the big picture, in another post ITT.

Putin should not have started this war 3 years ago. But much of Zelenskyys rhetoric is centered around Putin going even further into Eastern Europe if he is not stopped now, even saying today we would "feel his influence " eventually.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, the price of crude jumped 70% for a period of time. You felt his influence without him attacking NATO. Thinking so simplistically that something only changes for us if we/NATO are attacked is exactly that, simplistic.
