There was a point in our history where family members shot at each other over deeply held beliefs. This is nothing. As far as it never coming to this, read the thread about the transgender therapy about to be forced on an innocent six year old boy. When your enemy is evil, it comes to this.

I am sure there are a lot more rifts in families and stories people are embarrassed to talk about because they are so bad.

I used to be related by marriage to a woman in PA that is batshit hating on Trump and his supporters. She posts on FB in long paragraphs that she cannot understand how anyone voted for Trump.

I felt like Obama was an embarrassment and a stain and the worst President I had seen (like they supposedly feel about Trump) I sucked it up-buttercup and didn't go on antidepressants and melt over it.

Better off. They don’t want y’all there. Spares you and your wife having to go someplace where you te not really welcome.

None of what you stated above comes as a surprise to normal people who are in tune with today's political/social environment.

Again, being a former Proggie, I witnessed this phenomenon start about 15-20 years ago. When I was breaking away, I was telling this board what these people were really thinking and wanting. The Obama Presidency, combined with the media narratives, have emboldened these people to really come out and start telling the truth about what they are and what they want.

Rest easy knowing these people did you a favor. The sooner you can cut these mentally ill retards out of your gene pool, the better you will be. I can promise you, if they needed you for something, they would be there with their hands out tomorrow. If you helped, they would take your offerings, then stab you in the back again.

You should send them a Thank You card and be done with it.

They really are unhinged. They are brainwashed that things they don't like can suffer. (Look at Kav if they got away with it) They are brainwashed by elitists that actually think they know what is best for us.

They ignore that the working class is awake and mighty pissed off.

You should celebrate... Think about all the BS that would have been associated with them informing you... Flowers, funeral, cooking or buying a meal, spending hours with people whom you really don't like... Christmas has come early!

TDS is a real thing. My ex FIL who is a retired LEO and retired in a second career of acedemia posts some crap on FB that my only comment on much of it is “come on your better than this”. I kid you not if it’s antiTrump no matter how brainless he posts it.

No critical thought at all. A eroded PhD and he won’t think. I don’t expect him to like Trump after all dude is a bit screwy (FIL not Trump) but he should at least do some sort of plausibility rest on some of the crap.
