But even if they are a train wreck, if Trump wrecks the economy with this tariffs, the swing voters are going to crush us in the midterms regardless. He needs to call off the tariff dogs NOW and permanently before we're in a severe stagflation scenario.

As much as it kills me to say, Newsome would beat Vance. Do not underestimate him. It doesn’t matter to the Left just how horrible he has run California into the ground & how utterly corrupt he is. He looks good, he talks good, he can debate. The Legacy media will fawn over him & won’t call him out on any of his lies. White women will run to the polls to vote for him. He can easily be our next President. He isn’t doing this new podcast for fun. He is setting up his run for the Presidency.

The craziness of the left is our greatest hope, that Newsome won't win a Democratic primary as he'll be viewed too conservative. Vance is great, but Newsome would be a force to be reckoned with, and unless the economy turns around by '28, I would rather be in Newsome's camp than Vance's camp (with the 2028 electoral map at least, 2030 onward is a new ballgame with Census changes).
