"The attempt in this budget deal is to send a message to you Trump voters that it’s worthless voting for him, that it is a waste of time supporting him, because they are demonstrating that he can’t get anything done.

They are not gonna let him get anything done. They’re gonna put obstacles in the way and they’re gonna make sure, as best they can, he can’t get anything done. And you are supposed to conclude at some point, “You know what? Maybe we would be better off without Trump. Maybe we would have a better chance of getting something done without Trump, because they hate him so much that they’re never gonna allow anything decent and good for the country as long as he’s there.” '

It's a long read but worth your time.

This is why elections have consequences. Those that voted for Trump did not turn out in 2018 and let the Socialist take over the House. Meanwhile this good man is working his arse off for the freedoms that we enjoy.

I knew there were a lot of newbies to the political wars. And as soon as they had to actually pay attention, learn what was going on, seek the damn truth and get off of the couch and vote, they failed the country. Shame on them.

Our last best hope is that they overplay their hand so badly that we have a firmer grip on power after the 2020 elections than we've ever had.

All of this is possible:

2nd term Trump who really DGAF
A more MAGA Speaker of the House instead of Cuck Ryan
Senate majority
6-3 SCOTUS (probably more like 5-4 since Cuck Roberts loves to virtue signal)
More hysterical MSM and Dem "resistance" than ever
More GOP governors in key states than we currently have

That always happens. The only exception to the rule was Dubya after 9/11.

As long as his "getting shite done" list is longer than his "ain't getting shite done" list then he's got my vote. In the world of politics any accomplished list that rates 50% or better is a distinctive sign of a successful presidency. That's why Obama was an abject failure. His accomplished list could be written on the back of your hand.

For two years in, Trump needs a notebook for getting shite done otherwise the Dems wouldn't be having hissy fits 24/7.

I listrned to it.

Rush’s point is don’t buy it. The Deep State is sending propaganda in the form of poison pills in legislation to alienate his base.

I get that what Rush is saying. But this is a HUGE step backwards for preventing illegal
Immigration. The wall is irrelevant if you can’t deport an MS13 member who rented a six year old to be his child. He gave that up to build 55 miles of wall.

Trump’s entire Presidential Campaign needs to be focused on electing not only him - but Congress people (up to and including Assisting the primarying if RINOs) to help him pass a legislative agenda that repeals this part of the law. He needs to acknowledge that CONGRESS - including GOPe created a GARGANTUAN amnesty problem. If he ignores that and focuses just on: “see I built the wall” his base will eventually stop believing him.

I’m still on the train. I still support him. But we need a virtual wall in the legal sense of the physical one is going to work.

At some point Donald Trump has to assume responsibility for allowing the GOP establishment and democrats to hoodwink him so much and continuing to take bad advice from advisors who do not have his best interests at heart and disagree with him.

100% correct!
Both parties' elected reps.

Five GOP Senators have announced they oppose Trump's NE declaration.
Rubio is one of them!
Screw him!

To think I'd once supported that POS for POTUS. My bad!

And Trump knew that and still signed that shite sandwich anyway.

He should've demanded a clean CR and declared the NE anyway.

Yep.

GOPe and democrats knew Trump wanted the wall so much he was willing to give up anything and almost everything for it.

And shame on him for that. What happened to walking away from a bad deal?

The only hope they have is to try and turn TRUMP'S supporters against him. Only every time they do it unsuccessfully it just further strengthens TRUMP'S bond with us. You think they'd figure it out by now but I guess they just are that desperate.

He has accomplished almost everything he campaigned on except repealing Obamacare (thanks worm brain McCain) and slashing the debt (thanks Congress).

And that was all in the first 24 months.

Let's see where things sit in another 18 months.

Is obvious what the deep state is trying to do. The base is sick of it but the thing is normal everyday working Americans are sick of it too, voters may not respond the way they think.
