I have no problem with incremental build. I do have a problem with taking away the ability for ICE to do their job.

In most cases, he doesn't care what folks think. I wish he wasn't concerned if the Republicans override a veto. If they do, they will be punished by the voters. He should force their hand.

Correct. First shutdown was on the Democrats. Place this one solely in the hands of the Republicans. Time for losers on both sides to be held to the flame.

I don't think it is a fair deal, at all. I also don't think that the Dems will ever agree to a deal that goes beyond this current proposed deal.

It's a pickle to be in.

No they won't vote for the Dem nominee, but it's possible that if they don't like whatever agreement is reached re: the wall, that they don't turn out to vote in 2020.

No it's horse shite. 20 billion is basically chump change compare to what is wasted on bullshite wars, foreign aid to assholes who hate us (special frick You to Pakistan) and welfare to these fricking illegals that take advantage of America and the legal citizens. Allocate a bunch of money and wall up as much as possible. Stupid dog and pony show. The democrats in this country are pathetic.

Apparently, the deal in principle only from last night is already in trouble as not all Committee members are on board. It was a smaller group that agreed last night to the framework of a deal but the larger group hasn't been briefed and aren't happy.

Now the WH is saying they don't know what Trump will do because the details being reported don't match what they were being told yesterday. So Shelby got word of what Trump would approve, had his small meeting last night and shut out most Committee members, agrees to Dem demands, and then comes out saying he thinks Trump will sign it?

The prior bill that trump refused to sign actually included more "wall" funding than this FYI
