I see this assertion bandied about on this board by the RINO leaning posters on this board. Is there any postmortem 2020 election study to prove this assertion? If so, please link.

Do you think many people were actually about Biden as a candidate? The overwhelming majority did not vote for Biden, they voted against Trump.

Don’t take me for a RINO. But we’ve had countless threads about conversations that we’ve heard or had covering exactly this. There has been so much anecdotal evidence that it shouldn’t be ignored. For anyone to think otherwise is to have your head in the sand.

I don't feel like looking the studies up (saw this discussed quite a bit with Jordon Peterson), but psychologically speaking most elections are won because you're motivated to keep the other candidate out of office. Disgust is a more powerful motivator than likability.
Why do you think political ads are mostly negative? They realize that you're going to have a more effective political campaign if you smear the other guy (create disgust) rather than try and build yourself up (be likable).

Everyone I know besides the “Slay Queen” Karen retards that like Kamala wasn’t voting for Biden but against Trump. They only brought up Trump and nothing in Biden and his policies. It was always about Trump being a dick and nothing else. Now they’re realizing what they voted for rather than what they voted against.

And take a quick look at the collapse of the favorable independent polling toward Biden. That’s all you need.

Yep. I know people that voted Biden. Their vote wasn’t “for Biden” as much as it was against their perceived boogeyman that was personified in DJT. It doesn’t matter that they were clueless about joe’s past or policies. They voted and that’s what mattered. Now they are starting to see the damage of what they voted for but it’s too late.

It's hard to imagine the level of stupidity of someone who voted against president Trump because of mean tweets, totally disregarding all of the great things that president Trump did/ was doing to make life for Americans better. Despite these morons, president Trump still won in a landslide.

When the media created a narrative that Trump was a nazi, rapist, tax cheat who doesn’t want you to have healthcare and turned the world against the US it isn’t that hard to understand. People can be emotional creatures. We’re talking about people who look at headlines if even that. They get their news from gossip pages and follow celebrities that tell them how to live their lives as “global citizen”. They don’t care about the health of the economy just as long as they are taken care of. When the dems (and media) drive home that some rich person has stolen from you and kept you down and that they will punish those responsible for this you can find yourself buying into it. To do otherwise would be to take personal responsibility for where you find yourself in life. Look around, does this country really seem like a place to do that nowadays?

I know people who complained that Trump says stuff they don’t like but they all still voted for him because of his policies. People are stupid and deserve the struggles coming if they voted against Trump because he is mean .
