I got on the Trump Train at the escalator. I’m not getting off. I’m not giving up my sparkle coat. Or my Jan 2015 vintage MAGA Hat. I believe in the POTUS, but he can’t MAGA without CONGRESS. And Congress sent him a shitbomb.

The problems are that it: 1) restricts places where he can build the wall (I don’t see how he can Emergency declare away a part of the law); 2) gives amnesty and immunity from prosecution to anybody who shows up with a minor (THE WORST PART); 3) defers the power of the federal government to enforce borders to random local mayors.

This is amnesty and sanctuary cities all along the border. It is frickED UP.

Even if Trump declares a national emergency and builds the wall - the wall will have gigantic holes in it in various federal parks, and anywhere a local mayor wants to say no. Plus. We’re just encouraging human trafficking. We’re saying. Find a random toddler. Drag it across the dessert. You have a get out of jail free card, and welfare for life.

The law makes the wall useless. If it’s concrete or slats or whatever. We can’t throw these POS OUT if they get in.

It makes no. Logical. Sense. I think the National Emergency Declaration is a terrible idea, but If I were advising Trump, I would advise him to Veto, and send it back to the House and Senate and tell them if you don’t take out those MORONIC limitations on amnesty, I’ll declare a National Emergency.

I will say, Dan Crenshaw (who has done the Lord’s work on this issue) voted No in the house, and the senator who beat McCaskill voted no.

Here are my questions for those of you more knowledgeable about Congress minutiae than me:

1) If Trump does sign this shite, are the above horrendous provisions the law forever, or just for the next six months? To me. They make the wall useless.

2) The law was passed by veto proof majorities in House and senate. Does the number of votes prevent Trump from vetoing this this POS Law- or can he veto and hope that he can sway 14 senators (i think that’s how many he needs) to change their votes when it goes back.

Boy you got that right.

At least it exposed them for being the open border assholes they are.

Anybody who looks at that and says anything else is incapable of rational thought.

Blind loyalty to anything is stupid and dangerous.

Use your brain and criticize when it is necessary... Like this bill if he signs it.

Sometimes being a leader means you have to tame a bite from an excrement sandwich.

However, if I was trump, I wouldn’t sign it. Not because of the paltry sum for the wall but all the stupid Shiite that the Dems included like restricting numbers of detentions, not deporting pregnancy women etc.

He is going to have to engage in the Obama precedent and use the pen and phone.

Funny to watch lefties sky scream about that when they were crickets with the Kenyan.

Play the Dems game: It's not a wall, it's a creamy marshmellow nougat!

They can still be deported, it's not prosecution, it's their right to go home!

Not constitutional, Fed Govt. sets borders by treaties. Solution:renegotiate treaty putting disagreeable towns on other side of the wall!

The bill was passed by 2/3 majority in House and Senate. So unless they change their votes it’s veto proof.

Because Trump screwed up whennhe was cowed into the three week deal. The Dems knew he didn't have the balls to shut down again, so they so they dragged their nuts across his and the republicans' faces.

If he doesn’t sign it, and the law goes into effect, would it be the law forever or just until
Congress had to pass its next budget?

Because I can seethe about this for six months. Just not forever.

Right. The funding parts aren’t what piss me off.

It’s the part about federally sanctioned sanctuary cities and amnesty to anyone who brings a kid into this country illegally that freak me out. Are we stuck with that shite forever??

1) It isn't permanent as far as the material restrictions are concerned. The local vetoes and restriction on prosecuting guardians are as permanent as any law is.
2) If Trump we're to go back on his word to Mitch McConnell and not sign the bill I think the Senate would be ticked off enough to override the veto. The only play here is to sign and try the EO route.

PS: Your coat has sparkles? Was that a special order?

Yes. My coat has sparkles. It’s the ladies model. Special edition.
