My family managed to pull that off for decades.
When would you find the time?

It was so nice to be around a table of accomplished conservatives today. Not that we talked politics because besides one physician who mentioned his Fauci- loathing a few times, there was none. It was just nice to be around highly successful professional people ( way more than me btw) who understand how things work and who can connect the dots. The lack of Cubbyisms was energizing. Sometimes living among the dolts wears me out.

It's almost like climate change is a real thing and has been for millions of years. Anyone who denies that the climate is changing and has always been changing is retarded

Ive never seen it occur, personally.
The old ideal of not discussing religion or politics around real people still is a great ideal.

It really was understood,Rog. I can remember being a kid and my parents saying “ now don’t ever talk politics or religion at Aunt Bonnie’s house” and it was like an iron law. Those were the days, huh?

Yep, we never had family strife on either side of my family or my wife's family. Gatherings were pleasant and I still remember how much fun they were.

My brother misgendered my daughter’s cat. (Like the cat noticed) I told him gender is fluid in our house and everyone had a good chuckle. That was as political as any conversation got today.
My family is very MAGA. My brother in law open carries (is that the term?). Idk he has lots of guns. But I love him and he’s cool. People let bullshite ruin good things.

Awesome, Best take of the day !!
Just, get a plate, be thankful for the family no matter how FU they may be.
Be happy they are alive and Frick the differences.
To each is there own, keep it moving!

None of them showed up. The ones that had finally started coming back around last year after being absent since the scamdemic, they're absent again.
One of them, I called "a disgusting and sick excuse for a human being" directly to her face after she very publicly made posts mocking Charlie Kirk's death.
Good riddance. I'm too old to want their negativity in my life any more. I don't tolerate it anymore. If the benefit doesn't outweigh the detriment, then it's called "toxic", and should be excised from your life. This goes for chemicals, food, drinks, locales and also people. Friends or family, matters not.
