How realistic is it, and do you see other states following?

Depends on how far the feds push. It won't happen over abortion or gay rights, but it might over guns, election laws, or federal encroachment.

Won't happen. The FedGov, like a scorned husband, would kill us all before letting us leave.

I think it’s inevitable eventually… with states forming their own coalitions.

We have a TEXIT subject matter expert here and I expect she’ll join in …

My .02 is we’re either gonna have to split or duke it out, one. Both have their pros and cons.

In the relevant future? Zero point zero percent.

No. Breaking the United States into smaller, weaker entities benefits absolutely no one except other nations. Everything will be less convenient and more expensive for the average US citizen at every level. Beyond that obvious consequence, it will directly lead to instant Chinese domination of all global affairs.

No sane population will support that in the near term.

AT this point I am done with carpet baggers moving here and telling me how to live and vote. When the time comes to vote to go a separate way I will do so.

Hopefully it never happens. Sounds good in theory, the results would be the destruction of the United States of America.

It won't happen. The question was settled in the 19th Century.

Texas Republicans just added Texas Secession to the platform with a 90% vote.

If the Dem/Socialists continue to steal elections… and SCOTUS not giving us any relief to argue our case. I’d say it’s likely.

So we just continue to allow the federal government to overstep their boundaries and inflict damage on us? And just sit here and take it? What’s the point of living as a United nation when leftists are hell bent on destroying the US anyways? That doesn’t benefit anyone either.

Texas is more than capable of being self sufficient, especially with the recent influx of high earners and corporations from California.

Texas is unhappy with the lack of border security and they have every reason to be.

What do polling numbers show for a popular vote on the general ballot?

Not to mention Texas could easily be one of the world leaders in natural gas without suffocating regulations pushed by far leftist environmental activists. They would be just fine economically.
