Nothing much will change from the White House
Trump will continue to govern the same he and all other presidents govern with a congress hostile to their agenda.
Trump will continue his presidency in the same vein as Clinton/Obama
Internationally, he hasn’t required much interaction from Congress and will likely continue to issue executive orders on the domestic agenda.
There really wasn’t a plan for major legislation in the next two years, and he will have to accept congress will absolutely not approve any nominations during the same period.
Everyone will continue to carp about the other side, as has been the hallmark of this Great Nation for the last 250 years.
There ain’t going to be coalition of 67 votes in opposition to the veto pen.
Sohhhh….Ain’t nothing changing except the whining.
Onward to 2028
May the best ideas win…

The hordes are going to be streaming across the border unchecked now.

quote:
A) the border isnt open and never has been
B) Open borders is actually a conservative position. Hell, the godfather of conservative economics, Adam Smith argued that labor is a resource that should not be interfered with and that labor choosing to move to your country just means you won capitalism. And he was totally correct, you wont find a single peer reviewed economics study that says anything other than "immigration is a net economic plus"
C) Immigrants arent getting rich off your paycheck, thats just an insane thing to think. Probably has something to do with the rich convincing the poor to hate people that breathe differently so that we dont rise together and stop them from sucking our wealth into off shore bank accounts.
frick this gaslighting queer

And because she is a Latina and with open borders this might have sealed Texas’s fate. I pray to god I am wrong

We've had at least 20–25 million successful unauthorized entries for the period 1995–2020. Sounds pretty "open" to me. And that's the official figures - I'm positive the numbers are much greater.

I would agree that bringing in a lot of foreign workers and immigrants (illegal or otherwise) is both a Republican and a Democrat stance. Neither party really wants to stop it. But a "conservative" position? Assuming the Republicans aren't considered "conservative" (and I would argue that they aren't "conservative" at all) then it's absolute BS. True conservatives hate bringing in a lot of workers to compete with Americans and also hate outsourcing jobs overseas. I don't think you know what being a "conservative" is.

Doesn't matter if they are getting "rich" or not and I don't think anyone is arguing that (except for the Somalians defrauding the government in some states). The issue is that the mere presence of illegals here means that they are getting free services, even if not welfare (which many are) they are at least benefitting from everything that us taxpayers (and our ancestors) built and paid for - infrastructure like roads, schools, government, etc. Additionally, their mere presence means they take work away from Americans willing to work (including the H1B Visa holders and jobs outsourced overseas).

You conveniently left out the fact than many illegals are coming here for social services.., not to work or for opportunities to work.
They are coming for free shite like healthcare. That’s completely different than coming here to work. Therein lies the real problem.
Doubt you understand the sudden jump in opportunists coming here for free shite. Probably a bit too much for you to comprehend.
