I worked in residential life at LSU when I was a student there. You should look to your own school if you wanna see weird and embarrassing.

To be fair every schools residential life is weird and embarrassing. Same with the campus tour groups. It's all run and staffed by weird individuals.

Dude, until you show me ANY other school with a comparable example of your male cheerleaders and the cheer practice nonsense y'all worship you should probably just sit down.
Your school is on it's own level of cringe weird and second place can't be seen in the rearview mirror.

Why aren’t people utilizing the “identify as” leftist loophole?
It’s already established with these nut jobs that you can identify as whatever the hell you want.
Doesn’t matter if you’re as white as that dude from the “Powder” movie. Check “black”, show up, and make them kick you out. Then sue them for every penny they’re worth.

Drag Show in the LSU Student Union
Oh no. A&M has yell leaders. But also large scale Christian presence on school using Reed Arena every Tuesday night just to have a space bug enough for everyone. And a school that heavily supports the military, places emphasis on living our God and the USA situated in the second most conservatively voting SEC town.
LSU has drag shows in the Union. Even drag shows at mandatory yearly trainings. LSU has emergency faculty meetings about how to handle one’s own emotions about Trump being elected.
We’re the weird ones….

Abbott is wrong. OP is wrong. Posters who jumped on this thread are wrong...and some are hypocrits.

Gov. Greg Abbott threatened President Mark A. Welsh III in a post on X after screenshots spread online suggesting that Texas A&M was breaking state law by “sponsoring a trip to a DEI conference that prohibits whites and Asians from attending.” The social media post comes despite A&M’s general counsel affirming that partnering with the conference abided by the state’s anti-DEI law’s recruitment exemptions.
“It’s against Texas law and violates the US Constitution,” Abbott wrote on X Monday night in response to the claim. “It will be fixed immediately or the president will soon be gone.”
A follow-up statement from Welsh posted on A&M’s X account roughly two-and-a-half hours after Abbott’s comments said the university “does not support any organization, conference, process or activity that excludes people based on race, creed, gender, age or any other discriminating factor. The intent of SB-17 is very clear in that regard. We will continue to honor both the letter and the intent of the law.”

The PhD Project hosts an annual conference focusing on networking and mentoring opportunities for “historically underrepresented students,” and students must identify as “Black/African American, Latinx/Hispanic America, or Native American/Canadian Indigenous” to apply, according to its website. Dozens of universities partnered with the conference nationwide, including 10 other Texas universities besides A&M:
Baylor University
Rice University
Texas Tech University
University of Houston
University of North Texas
University of Texas at Austin
University of Texas at Dallas
University of Texas at El Paso
University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley
University of Texas at San Antonio
Other notable universities include Auburn University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, Louisiana State University, the University of Notre Dame and the University of Oklahoma.

He caved because 1.2 billion of A&M's budget requires Abbott's signature.
Is LSU still participating, or did they they change their mind as well?

LSU probably came up with the idea for the conference in the first place. Their admin sets the bar for woke.
