So I’m confused. Does the left want us to drive “energy efficient vehicles” or not? I guess they no longer care about the planet since they’re no longer in charge

Serious question as we are about to see a price drop, and as a 90-mile daily commuter, it has some advantages to ICE vehicles.
1) a well-maintained ICE at about 300K miles starts to make me nervous and say, “ok. Maybe think about a new one.” I could see someone making that argument almost anywhere down to 150K just as well. But what is “that” number on a Tesla? Is it different between models and battery types?
2) are we going to see $10-15K Model 3 with mileage that’s roughly half of “that” number?

Putting that on someone’s car is making a terroristic threat and can be prosecuted.
§ 11.402 Terroristic threats.
A person is guilty of a misdemeanor if he or she threatens to commit any crime of violence with purpose to terrorize another

Anyone that puts that on a Tesla will probably be captured by the onboard camera system also. But that all assumes we'd expect any NoCal DAs to actually TRY to prosecute.

That was a federal statute, I believe they could be investigated by the FBI and charged by the DOJ if they wanted to pursue it.
