Massie is for term limits.
Massie favors 3 terms in house and 2 for senate
He signed the US Term Limit Pledge when becoming a congressman.

12-16yrs max. That way there's a limit set and it can be revisited in the future. Everything moves so fricking slow in this country that a legitimate politician needs some time to push certain things through.

Term limits are a bad idea. It’s one of those things that sound good. But it will cause elected officials to become greater figureheads than they already are.

Yeah. Even he understands that it wasn’t meant to be a career even though it sucks to not have the great ones stick around.

Jugbow your downvotes sting me on a deep level

Can you elaborate further on this to explain the greater figurehead part more?

Massie agrees with Truman as do I.

I wish more Congress critters agreed with Massie. And Truman.

We need term limits and FULL financial disclosure.

I disagree.

The Machine picks the candidates and we vote on what's already preselected.

Lindsey Graham spent about 28 MILLION on his last campaign cycle... you seriously think an unknown candidate can compete with that? Primaries are a joke.

Yet Massie is running against a navy seal veteran, discrediting him, to stay in office longer to fight against Trump.

Yeah. I appreciate Massie keeping the AIPAC influence out of Kentucky and the US.

Kentuckians probably don’t know how much of their money goes to Israel.

Did you know AIPAC has given more money to the Trump backed opponent than to Eric Swalwell.

By almost $2M. That’s bad, right?

You really going to argue about influence in Kentucky when Mitch was bought off by China?

I've never seen a good argument against term limits

Yes. Mitch was a bought and sold disappointment.

You guys try to make arguments for folks that don’t have any interest

Do you do that in real life?

Hey Pete, why do you love that thing?

Hey Jugslow, what the frick are you talking about?

About like that?

You’re still ignoring how the principled man signed and co wrote a bill on term limits yet he’s running after 12 years.

Age should also be a factor. It has been said academics do their best work before age 40. Let people serve in congress and the senate until they are maybe 45, then push them out into the real world where they have to live the rest of their lives with their decisions.

Outlaw having homes in the DC area. They should live in a dormitory while in DC and eat in a cafeteria. No fancy dinners. They shouldn’t actually have to be in DC that much. Live in your district while representing. Maybe meeting DC one week a month.

Also, figure out how they are getting rich (stocks, funneling campaign money to relatives, etc.)and shut off the spigot. Let them get rich under the rules the rest of us play by - real work. Serving in congress should be a sacrifice.
