I’ll be generous so the swamp rats will pass it.

House

1) can be elected 12 terms
2) in case of vacancy, governor appoints person to finish term
3) no former member can be appointed to vacancy
4) eligible to serve between the ages of 30-80

Senate
1) can elected 4 terms
2) in case of vacancy, governor appoints person to finish term
3) no former member can be appointed to vacancy
4) eligible to serve between 30-80

President/ Vice President
1) can elected 2 terms
2) eligible to serve between 40-80 years old
3) must be born in United States to 2 citizens

Supreme Court

1) mandatory 80 year old retirement
2) court is limited to 9 seats
3)justice Robert and Barrett must be removed from the bench because they are incompetent

Did I miss anything, oh yeah I will add you can only serve in 1 chamber, anybody elected to the house is ineligible to serve in the senate, so that cuts the max time in congress to 24 years per person.

This should be on easy street to pass with conservative and liberals folks

24 years is too long, these career politicians will simply spend 24 years in one chamber, then switch to the other for a 48 year career. Should be a total of xx years in Congress.

quote:

in case of vacancy, governor appoints person to finish term

This is a State issue, and all 50 States have their methodology of how these positions are filled.

quote:

eligible to serve between the ages of 30-80

Why 80? Should we cap it at the full age of retirement as defined by social security?

quote:

removed from the bench because they are incompetent

I understand what you are trying to accomplish and you say this in jest/frustration, but you need something that can be defined; or you leave it up to the party in power to determine what constitutes incompetence.
If you are trying to

While you are at it, I would mandate that all votes must be on record (in both the House & Senate) and define how many times an official can abstain from voting.

Make it 40-75, and you've got a deal. An 80-year-old is one fall in the bathtub from being a cripple or dead

Those terms are ridiculous. That's 24 years for both Reps and Senate. Stupid. Cut that in half. Allow President 3 terms. Max age 70 at most recent election.

Change Presidential/VP term to one 6 year term. Cannot start term when aged 70 or higher.

USSC serve 18 years being replaced every two years. If a member dies prior to term ending, the President can appoint an interim who would be ineligible to fill the slot when the remainder of the two year term expires. Court capped at 9. No age limit. Longest tenured jurist is Chief Justice.

Senate three 4 year terms.

House four two year terms.

Senators and House candidates older than 70 are ineligible to run.

I would make the term limit in Congress a max of 20 years. A politician could serve a max of 10 terms in the House or 3 terms in the Senate.
