Was thinking about this again this morning. Do we foresee American car companies raiding their prices knowing they can sell you on the tax savings?

This will happen, instead of "market adjustment" it will be called "tax adjustment". Hopefully the dealers that raped buyers the last 4 years will go out of business this year, they were a minority that needs to go.

Car prices will go up at least 10%. $50k loan, 5% interest, 60 month term, over $5k in interest.
Better idea would be to de-regulate.
ETA - this is going to screw people that wish to buy with cash and encourage more debt.

Why isn't he calling to repeal the law mandating surveillance tech be installed in new cars?

Because it will come after the fact with your tax return, no

People budget on a monthly basis, and the manufacturers are competing based on that up front monthly price.

Soccer mom mobile

Got the Overtrail version for my wife so that when I drive it on road trips the soccer mom mobile feel is minimized.

Soccer mom vehicles usually are pretty decent. I always felt minivans were underrated.

"Soccer mom mobiles" don't usually come with locking differentials.

I agree, Toyota is hands down the most reliable brand. I loved my Tundra and would still be driving a newer version if they didn’t get rid of the V8.

Mercedes and Hyundai in Alabama, Kia in Georgia, BMW in South Carolina are some that I know of.

Nissan and Toyota in Mississippi, Honda in Kentucky.

If it is an itemized deduction

If Trump wants to make a splash with it, it will not be an itemized deduction and would be handled like some of the energy improvements were in the past...
