And also fwiw, the reciprocal tariffs that China and others have hit us with are badly hurting some industries. Timber and Lumber are being slammed as well as agriculture.

Tariffs go both ways afterall

We are the largest consumer market in the world, all things being equal, we win every day and twice on Tuesday. The math is pretty simple.

Is there a way Trump could say he’s for and against anything at the same time?

TDS heads would explode.

“Apple pie. Big, beautiful apple pies! We have the best apples. I love the apple pies! But I also don’t like some of the apples in some of the pies. Red delicious? The best. Big and red like my MAGA hat. Granny Smith? Not so much. I only eat the crust when they are made with Granny Smith.”

TDS patients would have Crustless Granny Smith pies.

Now we need to force Lily to give these jobs to US citizens rather than H1-B recipients.

Anecdotal, but the people I know who farm beans do so to return nutrients to the soil and make a few bucks rather than letting it lay fallow. They don't plant beans to make a living

This is a fact! One can argue if it's a net win for the economy, but this is not up for debate

I had the pleasure to run your post in what I can only call a ' Fused Analysis' process. You and SFP are one in the same.

It’s called a transition you dummy! When implementing tariffs, there will be growing pains but in the long run. We are taking back our country from being the worlds piggy bank.

We are taking in an estimated 350 billion dollars a year from tariffs,

Or, in other words, $350 billion will be transferred from the private sector to the US Treasury.

Some still think tax increases are bad economic policy.
