I guess she really wanted to be born in North Korea instead of South Korea considering she hates white men who prevented that from happening.

Regardless. I would ordinarily believe that NYT shouldn't fire her. That said - I am positive that the NYT took the exact opposite stance with Roseanne; and they probably did with Papa John (just knowing how they roll.
That hypocrisy is a little much for me - especially when you consider that this Jeong Moron has a long history of hateful comments, and a demonstrated inability to be objective or even kind when talking about a race that's not her own.
Whereas both Roseanne and Papa John uttered isolated slurs, but neither of them had any animus when they uttered them. PJ was essentially instructing people not to use the N Word bc it's so offensive, and as I understand it was using it as an example of bad conduct, not yelling it at some black guy he was mad at. And Roseanne used what could be interpreted as a slur on an isolated instance, only when the slur was directed at a person she realized was black. Neither statement shows the kind of animus that this Joeng girl displayed.
