I spent the last eight years warning my liberal friends that their elation from having “won” was drawing them too close to the sun. Looks like I’m going to spend the subsequent eight doing the same with my conservative friends

I agree with you. Well, there's probably someone, but they're an idiot.
However, I do believe there are people who found her posting said photos on social medial genuinely distasteful. Whether they are justified in that belief isn't something I care enough about to give any real thought to.

I would have thought the presence of "for my amusement" and "jumble" would have been clues that I wasn't exactly going for clarity in my post
Even still, I also would have thought it clear that I was calling Smart Post an aggressive little bitch

No. There is no distinction. If we talking about hurting people's feelings, we can't decide how many feelings need to be hurt before it matters.
Whether I'm posting pictures of my kids on FB and it happens to hurt the feelings of a friend who can't have kids or Ivanka Trump is posting pictures and it hurt a couple 100,000 people's feelings, it's all the same.
Progs can't toe the prog line but decide when it's beneficial to their own agendas and move the line.

You're conflating my making reference to one's position with one's social media following. Ivanka is not only the president's daughter, but has an actual, titled position in the current administration. As such, she's going to be held to a higher PR standard. Again, them's the breaks.

Wow. Colleges really suck now. Back in the 60s an ACT score of 32 only got you into the test at Centenary. There were 50 of us in the freshman class that took it.
They gave us 20 pages of blank paper and a newspaper article. The article was about 75 words on 'justifications of the Vietnam war.'
Assignment: Write 10 pages critiquing the logic and writing style of the article. Site at least 5 sources. You have one hour.
Me and 3 other students passed. We walked out with an 'A' in English 101. We didn't need no stinkin' 4 digits for classes back then.

You had to cite to five sources off the cuff, without access to said sources? Especially when said sources had to critique logic and writing style, and not the actual content of the article? You're so full of shite
