T or F: masks wouldn’t be worn anymore if it wasn’t for miserable service workers?

Just a completely random thought, but I was just sitting here wondering why people are still going along with the stupid mask mandate, and I realized that 99% of the mask policy enforcement that I’ve seen in person since the quarantine started comes from miserable drug addict service workers like waiters and gas station attendants who use masks as an excuse to be as rude as possible to customers. It’s one of those “I don’t actually care about the rules but I’ll use them as an excuse to be an a-hole and start a fight with a customer because I hate my life and want to take it out on somebody” situations.

I genuinely don’t think that there’d be anyone wearing masks at this point if it weren’t for those general demographics acting as brownshirts and keeping the mask “laws” enforced. The average person, minus a Karen or two, doesn’t seem to care enough to risk getting their arse whipped over a cloth facemask

You've got a real knack for the language; maybe you could write for the RNC or the Trump campaign.

You do have to admit that people with little power over you have suddenly relished becoming nazis if you dont put on your mask the second you step out of your car, or yell at you when you are walking down the street 40 feet from them, its quite amusing.

You must not live in Mississippi. I have experienced pretty much the opposite. But then, I am cordial when I encounter them and they normally respond in kind.
