I have never even seen separate drinking fountains, ' colored only ' seating or accommodations, yet those who push this fake 'systemic' crap think we're living in the 1920's, or even 1820's.

Zero appreciation or recognition of how far we've come. Further than most.

The lie of 'systemic racism' insults the memory of so many who came before and fought actual racism.

F all of these race hustlers and hate merchants.

It's not even a cool myth like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.

I think the feeling of many are following the lines of the Kipling poem: The Beginnings (aka The Wrath of the Awakened Saxon).

Damn, after reading the first few paragraphs, it seems NYC really doesn't like Jewish people. Seems kind of racist of them.

It does - but almost exclusively in progressive utopias.

I've said this here before but this is a good place to say it again. Being in the middle of Gen X places me in pretty much a perfect position to have seen things really change. My parents were born in the 30's and graduated high school in the early 30's in NOLA. Their parents were from the early part of the 20th Century. The world all of them grew up in and lived for much of their lives was a completely different places than I did, despite sharing much of the same geography.

I started school in 1976 and never once had any idea that schools or the world had been segregated barely 10 years before. It never even occurred to me. I had black teachers, administrators, and most importantly black classmates, teammates and friends. Unlike my parents and grandparents that had lived their lives always being in positions where there really were differences in races based largely on the world in which they lived, all of these black people were my equals. Other than talk at home which echoed the past (al of which sounded ridiculous to me because my life was entirely different than what they were saying) I'd have never dreamed we weren't essentially all the same.

My walk through 50 years now has seen things get better and better. Take out all of the fake racist nonsense we're being spoon-fed now by opportunists and there is almost nothing similar today to what the world was like in 1965. We're barely 5 years removed from seeing a two term black President, a thing almost impossible to imagine when I was born. So to tell me that the world is WORSE OFF basically under my watch, when I can literally point to instance after instance of things getting infinitely better during this time infuriates me.

He is absolutely on point. I used to think that education was the great equalizer, but it goes even deeper than that.

There is very little critical thinking today, even from "educated" people.

I refuse to apologize for how business was handled in the past, especially considering how poorly their "modern" solutions are working. Cities burning to the ground. Native stock attacked and marginalized. Violent crime higher than ever before. Education system in ashes. National character of a red light district...

Nobody better come at me with some dumb shite about drinking fountains when I can't safely travel through most US cities without a fricking posse in 2021.

"By the year 2008, just before Obama was elected, this entire country, except for society’s outlier, was free of prejudice."

This. This all got started with Obama. He was and is a shite stirrer.

And this...

"even as newcomers from Asia entered this country these past 50 and 60 years and leap-frogged those already here."

He's saying while a particular group sits on their arse, bitching about racism and living off the government, Asians are coming in and ignoring all that stuff and blowing by their asses...leaving them in their democrat created shite hole.

No one wants to accept this truth.

And more truth:

" I know firsthand the secret to the American Dream: Don’t rely on the government for equal results because the government only will botch most things it touches. Rather, rely on yourself for self-help and your immediate network of family and friends, and the people at your church, cathedral, synagogue or temple, and private sources for a boost when needed — and understand that all you need to do to succeed in America is to be good at something valued by others: "

"and knowing that “systemic racism” is a canard adopted only by losers who are doomed always to be losers … or by their White liberal overlords hoping that no one notices them playing Three-Card Monte to retain their reins of control."

Equal opportunity hasn't resulted in equal outcomes, so now leftists are pushing forced "equity". This won't work either.

This times 100. I’m 10 years older then you, but my younger life was the same. Started school in 1966, and my class at a New Orleans catholic school was probably 60/40 white. My best friend at the time was a black kid both in school and out. I think this current race baiting is bringing us back 100 years, definitely not helping move forward.

Systemic racism is very real...it's just against white people though, and *HEAVY SARCASM* we had it coming.

It's white envy hidden as systemic racism.
