I’m glad you’re switching to Faircloth.
I don’t blame you for your rationale for voting for Meyers. It’s the reason judges need to be appointed- so that lawyers who actually have to deal with the consequences of judges like Don Johnson have input.
The election process prevents impartiality of judges. They aren’t there to serve a constituency; they are there to be a fair referee of legal disputes.
Electing judges makes them beholden to the team that got them elected.
I don’t know Jordan Faircloth well - but the reason I voted for him in the contest against Meyers and in the primary against Meyers is because he’s spent a career practicing in state court and understands state civil practice.
He will follow the law, whatever it is. The ppl financially backing meyers are doing so bc they want to control the civil practice. You should be leery of that.
I’m sure Jordan Faircloth also likes dogs.

Thanks for letting us know.
I’m sure the 58 people who vote in the runoff will be keenly interested.

Thanks. Not a good look for her.

I voted for Myers in the primary. All of my neighbors had signs in their yard. My wife was gushing that she brought a therapy dog to court. She had an R behind her name. So, no issue for me.
However, ever since seeing the previous post about her recently switching to an R, scrubbing all her social media prior to 2023, and the mentioning of some of her social media posts prior to that, specifically the radical one about the overrun of Roe v. Wade. Something about “ the Supreme Court recognizes life from birth up until a mass shooting”.
THESE elections mean so much more to day to day life that you experience. Anyone making the effort to do their homework will benefit the community.
