Probably figured out helps her re-election and they don’t need her vote. McConnell probably worked it out with her. A Democrat in that seat would be wayyyyyy worse. She voted for Kavenaugh and probably many other judges when we needed her. Given the current atmosphere do you really think a Democratic Senator from Maine would every vote for a Trump nominated judge.

I'd rather have someone who votes with me 50% of the time when the other choice is someone who votes with me 0% of the time

This may make sense, I suppose, if you are talking about someone with a discernible guiding philosophy. What’s Collins’s?

She's too stupid to hold office.
RBG was riddled with cancer and could have died at any moment.
Everyone knew this, yet SHE chose to stay on the bench.
Now, to leave the court at only 8 judges, a potential for a 4-4 ruling, would be dereliction of duty for both Trump and the Senate.
100% guarantee had the tables been turned, Hillary wouldn't have waited. We know this because RBG's daughter said so. She chose to not retire because she wanted Hillary to appoint her successor.

Get over it.

The one thing the voters were concerned about was the fishing industry, Trump opens it up and they will still vote Biden

She's voting this way to save her seat.
So she's voting for her will instead of the people's will. Now that's how character is defined.

She has never voted against the President's nominee for Supreme Court.
In 23 years - she voted FOR:
Kavanaugh
Gorsuch
Kagan
Sotomayor
Alito
Roberts
What a hell of way to leave the Senate, Sue?

Didn’t Murkowski come out and say just the other day that she’s changed her mind again and voting no?
Trump should send Collins a message and let her know that she’s on her own now.

No she didn't.

Is that really a deciding factor for most people? If I'm a right-leaning voter there, she may not get my vote if she votes against the party.
She can’t fall in line on every issue so in this case she’s crossing the aisle when it doesn’t make a difference.
Do you sometimes let your wife win an “argument” knowing it makes no difference but will get you some brownie points for when you need them later?

I'd rather Collins than someone who you know their guiding philosophy will be "shut Repubs down at every turn"

mean, if you cant count on her, and allow her to give the left ammunition to claim Rep. opposition to the nominee, its better that a DIM hold that seat, so we always know the score up front
Simple minded take. You don’t understand the game.

if this was February... she's a yes vote
instead we're 9 days away from her election and she's trying to inject life into her campaign
