Yep. And in a otherwise healthy adult it will turn an 88% into a 95% in minutes.

You're too obtuse to debate with.

You can't find a single link from a named, dependable source that says President Trump experienced shortness of breath so you resort to saying "I wasn't there."

As I keep saying, because the people who should be the named, dependable sources have been giving misinformation for the last several days, I' m inclined to believe the media reports which have proven to be more accurate of late. You're the one who has chosen to believe the WH and his doctors even though every day since they disclosed his diagnosis they've admitted that what they said the previous day was inaccurate or incomplete. Yet you call me obtuse.

And for what? There is no shame in being sick from a virus that people sick. And the whole point of treatment is for him get better and he appears to be getting better. What is even the point of the obfuscation and lies or the fealty to those lies. I suppose that's how cults work...

Agreed but it seems to be only one side that wants to attack him for feeling sick and wants to make it sound worse than it actually is. Weird.

What's weird are the folks who believe that simply saying that the very sick man is very sick is somehow an attack. I certainly don't see it that way.

I don't know if he is at this moment. The docs haven't given a press conference today and given the way things have gone, we won't know the truth until a day after one of those. He certainly was very sick on Friday and Saturday based on what we learned on Sunday.

Link that. I bet you can't.

I heard the doctor say the President's medical team is upbeat about the President's recovery and didn't want others to think they weren't upbeat. That's not being inaccurate.

Because you are. And you continue to be.

His doctor disclosed the President's blood pressure, his O2 blood saturation rate, his heartbeat rate and his temperature.

But you can't find one quote by him saying he experienced shortness of breath while claiming that means the doctor has given inaccurate information about the President's condition. Obtuse, much??

Easily lost bet.
Trump's medical team briefing reveals things are worse than we knew

Here is the doc admitting misleading people.

quote:

“I didn’t want to give any information that might steer the course of illness in another direction,” Sean Conley, the president’s physician, told reporters during a hospital briefing. “In doing so, it came off that we were trying to hide something, which wasn’t necessarily true.”

Rumor has it Marine One has been dispatched to bring him back to WH. If so, you can relax.

You just proved my point. The doctor's quote disproves your claim. Thank you.

Trump's medical team briefing reveals things are worse than we knew

quote:

Conley and others on Trump’s medical team remained upbeat, but said the president had trouble breathing Saturday morning and had started a drug used only for severe or critical cases of Covid-19.

quote:

As a determination of the team based predominantly on the timeline from the initial diagnosis that we initiate dexamethasone. — White House physician Dr. Sean Conley

Dexamethasone — a safe, inexpensive steroid that has been around for decades — is generally reserved for patients with severe or critical Covid-19 cases.

Also, this day four in the hospital, he may no longer be "very sick" but his doctors thinking a 4 day hospital is appropriate as well as him taking a drug that is indicated for very sick people is plenty to draw the conclusion that the man was very ill as men sometimes become. Again, I don't understand why you take that as some kind of attack. People get sick, He seems to be getting better.

We use it in all Covid cases in hospital to prevent them from getting critical, with great results.

That seem dangerous given its immunosuppressive effects. At most facilities, it's used closer to the standard set by NIH. Maybe y'all are just hella aggressive over there.

Another lie.

I was prescribed dexamethasone by a Lake After Hours doctor because I had a common case of bronchitis. I mowed my yard the next day.

Either you're really gullible, ignorant or dishonest. Which is it?

The immunosuppression is how it works. 6 mg of dexamethasone daily is not a dangerous dose. You do not even have to taper down.

Do you have training or experience in medicine?

ETA: We have no reported adverse reactions. We have seen nothing but benefit.

My understanding is that this drug can be dangerous for diabetics in particular, so the idea idea of giving it to all covid patients seems aggressive since presence of admittable covid & diabetes are to some degree correlated.

Nope. I'm an administrator who has a several docs reporting to me.
