It is a no brainer, fear, pessimism, hopeless, disease, unemployed, business lost, etc.

You won't hear shite from the MSM about models of suicides as a result to this horseshite HOAX. I will keep checking for stories as the weeks unfold but they will be hard to find as the MSM won't want to derail the BIG lie on hand.

With the global economy doomed you bet your arse suicides will be on the rise.

Gee you think the "cure" is more than destructive than the fake pandemic itself??

And sadly you can throw some murder-suicides in the mix as well.

Anyone with the data from post 9/11 and Great Recession of 2008 can post suicide statistics I would be genuinely interested in seeing them.

Unfortunately true. Nola had a spike in suicides post Katrina. Many professionals who felt their businesses and lives were doomed. Likely the same recipe here.

One of the biggest risks of this shutdown is suicide and hunger from the unemployed. There are already reports of people in Italy without food.

NOLA article on Katrina suicides

quote:

As was widely reported at the time, New Orleanians were killing themselves at a rate near triple what it had been before the storm. In a June 2006 story for The New York Times, Orleans Parish Coroner Dr. Jeffrey Rouse said the suicide rate, which is measured per 100,000 residents, had jumped from fewer than 9 before Katrina to more than 26 after it. He and another expert noted the number was likely higher because some deaths remained unclassified or may have been incorrectly termed accidents.

People drink more when they are depressed. Alcohol is a depressant. So yea, there will be an increase in suicides.

Its fine

Only deaths or lives that count revolve around Wuhan China Bat Eater Virus

If we all die or have to eat nutrient paste in cardboard boxes to prevent even one of those lives it was worth it

Losing your business you worked decades to build is a depressant as well.

There's a guy on here that will bet you that they won't outnumber actual virus deaths.

Who the frick is going to count? Nobody with the resources to count would want you to know.

Yes but we are making sure an 80 year old diabetic sees their 81st birthday so it’s a reasonable trade off.

The suicides are going to come from losing family members and other loved ones.

We have to make sure hunger isn’t an issue. There’s plenty of food in this country to go around.

if they left a note even mentioning COVID19 (or someone thinks they meant that), then they will quietly add that death to the virus caused column.

You can expect more house burglaries as well.

I didn't even think this was a question - suicide was a problem in the 30s during the Great Depression, it was again even after the 2008 downturn.

You can see it on a smaller scale after things like Katrina.

The virus has a way to go to catch up but this is not a race I care to see run.
