An example is on the issue of smoking tobacco and how much research has gone into that vs cannabis.
Hmm.... And I gave the CDC stats for deaths caused from tobacco. As well as the 40k a year who die from second hand smoke from tobacco. 40k people die a year hanging out with smokers.
And he's bitching about 300 (still haven't gotten a link/screenshot like I've provided for ALL my numbers) weed ods.
I'm sorry. But 300 fricking deaths a year is so small and trivial it is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.
And then he said smoking the equivalent to a pack of cigarettes a day. Which is 20 grams of Mary Jane a day. For 30 years. Not a single person on earth has, can, or will do it.

But you are not here to be honest.

I did the work for you. Now you do the work for me. Search, then screenshot, then post the Screenshot.

I'm beginning to think this proof doesn't exist. I've asked for the link and the search terms several times.

Of course it doesn't. But hey, I'm the playground child here.

This is what I mean. This thread isnt about him, or amybody for that matter, bitching about 300 deaths. He was asked a question and he answered it truthfully.
He never stated that about smoking either. If you are going to study amd compare, a subject you raised, then the sample size needs to be equal and we have not reached that point yet due to cannabis not being main stream.

Out of 300 deaths, how many were currently smoking the pot when they died vs how many hadn't smoked in days/weeks leading up to their deaths but it showed up in their system because it takes around 30 days to exit the system. I'd also like to know where these deaths occurred, because if a lot happened in small town USA, I'm sure fearmongering had nothing to do with it. You know, like I know, stats, polls, and reports can be construed/swayed to get a certain result. I'd also like to know how naive you are as to pot being illegal because it would knock the socks off over the counter pain medication, prescription pain medication, alcohol sells, incarceration rates, Civil forfeiture...etc!
If you think that's not the #1 contributing factor for pot still being illegal, then well, I'm sorry for your face!

What is the link and what search did you make? I'll look it up

The thread isnt about 300 deaths. I understand the need for you to make it about that though. It keeps you frpm the actual topic.
Personally i will not respond to that again. You have the link.

Have you ever heard of someone dying from a marijuana overdose?
I've heard of kids dying from synthetic marijuana.

The thread he started was on the effects on undeveloped brains.
Is that why he started talking about Portugal's decriminalization of all drugs?

Well if you want to debate that weed causes psychotic symptoms.... ok, it does. So does every damn thing else under the sun, according to "studies".
Computer screens turn kids into Psychotic Junkies
Recent brain imaging research is showing that they affect the brain’s frontal cortex — which controls executive functioning, including impulse control — in exactly the same way that cocaine does.
We can play this game to the end of eternity!
Stats and studies are easy to find on why "X" is bad for you. Weed is not the devil society makes it out to be. Weed is a victim of the propaganda bullshite just like everything else that is fed to us by networks who do things based off of "studies" and "studies" follow the directive. If you don't like weed, fine! Just don't come preaching from some study/stats that are backed by the same people who sign they're checks! Hell, women lead to more psychotic symptoms than all things under the sun combined... and I'm damn sure you are not trying to quit women!

I've argued, rehab isn't needed for weed.
Yet there are rehabs for cannabis users.
There are rehabs for pot. Which is a farce. But yes, they exist. It's big business. Many folk go to these places bc a court orders them to. And these places get to cite silly statistics to justify their existences. When a mere bad habit can be classified as an "addiction" the word "addiction" loses all meaning. That's what has happened here.
I don't know anyone advocating for minors to smoke pot. Most folk want it regulated like alcohol.

The rehab argument is a joke. They have people in rehab from drinking shampoo to black tar heroin. As long as you have money, there is a rehab facility for whatever problem you have. Out of 100 people in a rehab facility, maybe 3-5 are there for pot and out of those 3-5, 4 are court ordered and the other guys mom found a joint in his pocket when she washed clothes and overreacted, and sent his arse to rehab.

Bumping so more people can see the two idiots claiming hundreds of people die from marijuana overdose every year.

Lol!! What a pathetic attempt on your part.
You dont have the knowledge to use the system and then you claim a victory by calling others an idiot.
And again... you can avoid the topic all day, it doesnt change the facts. We have yet to discover the overall effects od the various usage of pot on a regular basis. This study confirms many other studies on the effects of cannabis use in teens.
The conclusion is that the message has to change because burnouts demanding it ne legalized is tell the world, inuding teens, its safe. It is not.

You contradicted yourself in this one post. Are you suffering from reefer madness? Or are you just schizophrenic?

I am calling anyone,( especially someone who claims to be in the medical field) that says hundreds of people die yearly from marijuana overdose an idiot. You sir are a freaking idiot. There has never been a documented case of marijuana overdose. It is virtually impossible. Everyone knows this. It's absurd that we are eve having such an argument. Having a discussion about the negative affects of marijuana use is fair game but fatal overdose? Come on dude.
