Which is sorta odd given the shear volume of reminders here that congress controlled the purse strings during his presidency.

That blows my mind. 152,000 people have student loans and make Less than 16 grand a year.

The point I was trying to make was simply that Biden isn’t doing anything here except for taking credit for something he had nothing to do with.

I wonder how they are selecting the ones to "forgive". Are they most likely to vote Democrat or be persuaded to? Are they using party registration and giving mostly to Democrats and "independents"?

Of course it contributes - but how much? Basically a drop in the bucket. I care less about the money and more about the simple legality and morality of it. (Seems fuzzy at best and is on balance immoral).
