If you aren't a fan of socialism and vote for Democrats than you sir are an idiot. There's no difference between socialists and the modern day Democratic party. The blue dog Democrats are long gone

FDR mistress was with him at his bedside the day he died....
Eisenhower had an affair with a model from Great Britian
JFK...well you know the rest... White House workers, mobster wives, staff reporters, movie stars, etc
LBJ..just a dirty old man..had a bastard son out of wedlock
and then there was Bill Clinton....king of the jungle....blow jobs in the Oval Office

It’s a dumb point. Only 3 Presidents have had access to it. Since he’s the latest, I certainly hope he is.

A basic understanding of economics seems to be lacking from some here.
We are running very high deficits. Tax increases are coming. Just not for corps. They have their permanent decrease of 14% now that the rest of u
Thank god you are on this message board to make a real difference. You seem to have all the answers. Go get em.

I’m not young. And again. It all hinges on Monica. It was well known about his past and he won election after election. The only reason people started to care about his past was due to the events of Monica.
You said:

Anything anti-trump is news worthy to these fools. He cheated on his wife. That’s the big news.
to which Martini replied with:
quote:
Well to be fair it was big news every time a woman claimed she was fricking Bill Clinton.
you resonded with:
quote:
That had more to do with while in the Oval Office. Quite literally.
Martini was correct. Now you are claiming that Monica made those stories news which doesn't make any sense because they were already big stories years before the Lewinsky scandal. Paula Jones for example was a giant story in 1994.

Fine. You just increased the federal deficit to increase shareholder value. Because as seen, corps sure as shite didn't lower the prices on goods and services as a result of the cuts.
So tax cuts-this one or any for that matter-are designed to lower the cost of goods and services?

Based on quarterly data released by the US Treasury, the debt at the end of 2008 — just before Obama took office — stood at roughly $10,699,805,000,000.
As of the third quarter of 2016, the most recent data available, the debt as Obama is set to leave office stood at $19,573,445,000,000
Seems pretty cut and dry. The numbers are what they are right?

Working people are seeing more money in their paychecks, businesses are hiring more employees and raising wages, etc. Please explain how the government would be better suited to have that money.
Because we keep allowing the government to keep on spending. If we can’t cut back on spending then we damn sure shouldn’t be passing tax cuts. It’s not up to my kids to pay for our inability to control ourselves. Spending would have been cut if the base pushed for it like they did with tax cuts. They didn’t though, just bitched about it after the fact. And blame the Dems. But they got muh military readiness though.

I guess I’m speaking from my level of care. Just like this jones was nothing. Who cares. He didn’t break any laws. To me it wasn’t a story. Lying under oath about Monica is the only pertinent information.
But he was still an elected official for all of it. The difference we are seeing is the act of a private citizen.

Well he's right. Corp tax cuts fricked everyone other than corporations. Everyone pretends like labor will increase, but we all know that 99% of those cuts will go to the profit line.

I don't care either. Trump fricking around on his wife is the least surprising thing I can think of. I don't know why anyone would give a shite. I was just pointing out that your argument was illogical.

I'm a fiscal conservative. I care about 1 thing above all else, keeping more of my money and getting back something for what I pay into social security (FYI I max out on social security holding every year at 130k or whatever it is in W2 earnings).
I'm trying to help you understand things a bit, but not gonna waste much more time on it. I've learned people don't like to learn or figure out when they are wrong.
I'll make one not simple point. Maybe you will think about it, learn about discretionary spending under Obama, Google the gang of six and develop some understanding of supply side economics and in particular the massive failure of the Bush tax cuts.
The point is this...
If one side wants to spend $100 and borrow $50 and the other wants to spend $100 and borrow $80 and both have to pay it back with interest, which one is more fiscally conservative. It's pretty simple and not a trick question. The money we borrow today will be paid back with compounded interest. That means taxes. I want less debt. That is what fiscal conservatism is about and one side wants to cut taxes and take on more debt faster while both essentially want to spend the same. The vast majority of the budget is mandatory spending neither side is touching. The republicans jack the shite out of military spending, the dems don't and both sides spend about the same on everything else (including social welfare). Spend as much or more and take in much less and borrow much more??
fricking right I oppose that. 100%.
Now if you want to educate yourself, go for it. I've given you some starting points. Maybe even understand when debt to GDP ratio becomes problematic and where we are at today. Learn about austerity, Greece, Spain, Italy, even the UK.
Happy hunting and hope you learn something.
