Stop saying Tulsi Gabbard is a "Moderate", she's absolutely not.

Here is a list of Tulsi Gabbard policy positions:
Lefty Stances:
Abortion: fully pro-choice with no limitations through 3rd trimester. 100% voting record with Planned Parenthood and NARAL.
Taxes: wants to raise taxes, especially on the "rich", as well as raise corporate tax levels and eliminate tax breaks for corporations and companies/people who "offshore" their money. Wants to raise capital gains taxes significantly. Believes there should be some kind of added wealth tax and death tax.
Women's Issues: co-sponsored equal pay bills, advocates equality of outcome over equality of opportunity. Pro title IX. Advocates for #MeToo/#BelieveAllWomen.
Electoral College: wants it abolished. Wants big coastal blue cities to have all the election power, apparently. She is also against voter-ID laws.
Minimum Wage: wants it raised to $15, plus is open to a Yang-style welfare subsidy monthly payment.
Healthcare: get rid of the ACA, abolish private insurance, enact single-payer government supplied Medicare For All/Universal Healthcare.
LBGTQ: apparently believes LBGTQ folks are discriminated against and not receiving equal rights. Wants LBGTQ in the military and cake bakers to be forced to make a gay wedding cakes and ministers to marry gay couples.
Immigration: wants open borders/no wall. Wants amnesty for DACA/DREAMERS. Wants to abolish immigration holding camps/detention/processing facilities and apparently not even deal with drug mules and child traffickers. Insists Trump is harming families and caging children with border detentions. Wants to drastically cut ICE and BP budgets and personnel. Pro sanctuary cities. Doesn't want law enforcement to help ICE.
Islam: thinks Trump and Republicans are islamophobes. Wants to reverse travel bans. Wants to allow significantly more Islamic refugees into US. Blames US for inciting terrorism against US, almost as if we deserve it. Doesn't really have a plan for dealing with radical Islamism.
Gun Control: wants "assault weapons" banned. Pro red-flag laws. Got an "A" rating from Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. Got an "F" rating from NRA. She is at the upper spectrum of gun control measures, just short of mandatory buy-backs/confiscation, but open to magazine limitations and banning all scary looking guns. Thinks NRA is terrorist organization. Blames them and guns for mass shootings. All this but somehow still claims she's pro 2A.
Climate Change: wholeheartedly believes in Anthropogenic Climate Change and that mankind is killing the planet with excessive greenhouse gas emissions. Fully supports the Green New Deal and carbon tax initiatives. Very pro Climate Accords, mad Trump got out of Paris Climate Accord. Co-sponsored bills calling for the weening off of fossil fuels by 2035. Anti-fracking/anti-drilling. Wants to shut down pipelines and domestic fossil fuel energy production. Wants to shut down coal production. Wants a full shift to wind and solar. Wants the US to lead the world in "combating climate change".
Education: wants free college for all. No plan on how to fund it. No stance on Common Core or School Choice, apparently. Wants to do something about outstanding school loans but isn't quite sure yet how. Sounds like she wants to pay them off, but not offend people who won't benefit.
Criminal Justice Reform: wants to abolish private prisons and release/go lax on non-violent and petty crime offenders.
Moderate to Right Stances:
Military: cut the military budget drastically, pull out of all wars and conflict, get troops home. Reform system for awarding military contracts. She is anti-military industrial complex, and very anti-war.
Marijuana: legalize it
Campaign Finance: needs full overhaul and drastic reduction in financial influence from PACs and corporations.
Spying/Civil Liberties: wants an overhaul of the Intelligence Communities spying capabilities. Believes IC is abusing capabilities and spying on Americans.
Infrastructure: believes we need serious infrastructure funding to repair dilapidated cities, roads, and bridges.
Net Neutrality: wants to end pay-to-play politics in online corporations and promote consumer choice.
Water: understands there are thousands of towns in the country with dilapidated water-treatment facilities and there needs to be a nationwide push to get clean water everywhere for everyone.
Banks/Lenders: wants to re-implement Glass-Steagall and get the banks and lenders under more strict consumer guidelines again.
Trade: she is/was against TPP and NAFTA and wanted new trade deals that benefited the US and cut down on trade deficits.
Opiods: wants to go after drug manufacturers/Big Pharma, as well as medical professionals for misuse of prescriptions.
Religious Freedom: believes in separation of church and state and that nobody should be discriminated against because of their religious beliefs (unless of course you don't want to bake a gay wedding cake or minister a gay wedding, apparently).
Secure Elections: she either wants a new national system for voting machines, or go back to purely paper ballots, and then get more strict election regulation of districts and poll sites. Oddly, though, she is against voter-ID laws, so she's still an idiot in this regard.
VA: she is very pro veteran/active military servicemen anything... healthcare, benefits, pay, you name it (she is herself a veteran). Wants reform for VA that makes things better for vets in general.
As you can see, there's quite the disparity there. Most of the things she is "moderate" in are no-brainer shite that everyone with a brain and a conscience understands is needed and proper.
All the big ticket items, however, she is insanely far left on. She wants to hand out free goddamn everything while having no valid plan to pay for it all.
Plus, that Green New Deal is the biggest pork-filled pile of wealth transfer Communistic big government globalist bullshite every conceived in this history of US politics.
She is a 100% hardcore Socialist. She is NOT a "Moderate". Not even fricking close. So stop saying it, because it's ignorant and stupidly wrong.

She's moderate in tone and I think she has genuine affection/respect for this country without wanting it to become some bizarre socialist utopia of spineless cowards.
I have no issue with progressives "existing", I have issues when they subversively and dishonestly want to deconstruct everything this country is about to get their way. I don't think she falls into that category, which is why I respect her and wish the modern left resembled her.

I don't think anyone is under the illusion that she's truly a moderate. At least, nobody that has actually studied her policy positions should think so.
I, personally, think she's interesting because she'll talk to the Republicans and is willing to compromise. I listened to an interview she did with Stossel and she showed a willingness to compromise and thoughtfully consider his push back, which is completely unheard of on the Democrat side. Of course, she confidently made her arguments too, but she's willing to have the debate. Meanwhile, the rest of the Democrats are out there portraying any Republican that isn't the rotting corpse of John McCain as members of the SS.

She isn't a viable option. We don't have 11 extremists and one moderate. We have 12 extremists and one of them is simply very slightly less extreme, mostly because she personally dislikes the Military Industrial Complex.
