Located just outside Atlanta, on 1000 Robert E Lee BLVD Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Can't believe this park is still standing in this day and age. I'm sure it will be targeted very soon by the BLM movement, and or Stacey Abrams.

It’s privately owned or operated, isn’t it? Kind of a different ballgame in that respect.

The park is owned by the state of Georgia.

No, state of GA bought it a long time ago

Is the mountain not operated/leased by a private party, though?

Commercial operation of the park is handled by Silver Dollar City. But the land and the mountain are state property and are protected (currently) under the state monuments law.

Nope, also state operated. There’s private companies that run attractions there but they defer to the state for everything

This is not a toothless threat surely. As the world braces for realignment of our ideals, she will certainly attempt to bridge the gap. She will fight tooth and nail for equality and try to create a large space front and center for safety.

just like the Taliban blew up monuments that they felt threatened them

Herschend Family Entertainment operates the park.

Well yeah, of course. It’s the most recognizable and well known monument of its kind anywhere.

Right, and they have to seek approval from the Stone Mountain Memorial Association for everything they do. So while a private company may run the attractions, the park is managed by the State of Georgia. The proverbial buck stops with the State

Liberals should ask their taliban friends how to best go about this holy deed

Gonna be a practice run for Mount Rushmore.

SMMA is a state authority, but they are self-supporting and do not receive any state tax dollars. It’s a little muddy.
