quote:

Steve Bannon, who was a top adviser to former President Donald Trump, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress for his failure to comply with a subpoena from the House select committee investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, the Justice Department announced Friday.

Bannon is expected to turn himself in Monday morning and appear in court that afternoon.

He is charged with one contempt count involving his refusal to appear for a deposition, and another involving his refusal to produce documents to the House select committee.

Showtime!

The DEMS will drag on JAN 6 FOREVER!

If they really cared, they would be adressing inflation, supply chains, the border, etc, etc.

DEMS HATE THIS COUNTRY!

They have no basis to subpoena him, in the first place. Because he supports Trump, and because (without evidence) they blame the capitol "riots" on Trump supporters, that somehow makes Bannon involved?

What a circus.

He should just appear before them and repeat "I dont recall" about 1 million times.

I’d also like to hear, “At this time, what difference does it make!” at least once.

Oh so Eric Holder can refuse a subpoena and nothing happens to him though...

I wouldn't mind hear a few, I'm just here so I don't get fined.

Our legal system has been radicalized. "Justice" isn't objective, but subjective and based on social justice.

I suggest that Bannon should employ the Eric Holder strategy in dealing with this charge of Contempt of Congress.

Agreed. That's more of a slap in the face than not showing up. He's is giving them a victory, when he could be giving them nothing.

He should show up and cycle these lines to every question:

His name was Seth rich.

Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself.

We have to pass the bill in order to find out what's in it.

Boys have penises girls have vaginas.

Some people did some things.

Guam is about to tip over.
