They are trying so hard to pin it on a select few. Problem is that there was a whole army of these scumbags working in the shadows. Everyone can see it.

The press jumped on the Trump train early in the GOP primaries. It helped Trump to elevate his message. The left felt Trump was an easy victory and once he was the nominee they could then attack.
Hillary thought she had this in the bag going against Trump and decided the Pacs and media would wipe Trump out for her. They also had implemented spying under Obama to gain an advantage (obviously more can be said here, but won’t) Her health was poor and also knew too much Hillary exposure was more hurtful and limited her campaigning.
They didn’t count on Trump gaining such a strong foothold and voters liking Trump’s outsider message. The left also started believing their fake polling. They also didn’t count on the protest voters who despised Hillary. They lost bigly and that was a glorious night.
Steele is now trying to get an alternate narrative started with this crap. He is a liar, not that he isn’t right about Comey, but that it was on Trump’s behalf. Frick em all.

Steele’s name is on the dossier. Some of the info is his. But a lot of it was written by Fusion GPS. Nellie Ohr admitted under oath some of her “open source info” ended up in the dossier but she had no clue how it got there.

Here’s the bottom line. Steele DID NOT write the dossier. Simpson’s wife Mary Jacoby in a now deleted FB post said so. She was mad about Steele getting all the credit in the news when her husband Glenn should be getting the credit. Simpson wrote the dossier. The 2016 dossier is just a rehash of his 2007 WSJ article to get John McCain with Russian Collusion where he change the characters names to fit 2016. The only problem for Glenn in 2007 was the GWB DOJ called bull shite. In 2016 the Obama DOJ ran with it.

I have no problem with that.
Bongino has been saying that it will come out that Steele didn't write the dossier. I know there is good case to be made it came from some newspaper article years earlier. But, if there is hard evidence of that, people are going down.
I still think most of the FBI is going to be about to spin their way out of this mess. Brennan and his gang will take the fall for running the operation.

The parallels between the Glenn Simpson 2007 WSJ article about Joh McCain Russian collusion and the 2016 Trump dossier are uncanny.

That was always the puzzling thing - when Comey was re-inventing Federal process crimes exclusively for one person (no "intent" to mishandle classified information is bullshite - "intent" isn't required for negligent criminality with an affirmative duty), they thought he was a hero. When he, quite mildly, rebuked her actions when called on this bullshite, they thought he was a traitor.
However, Trump firing him was just a pretext for an investigation.

The MSM only gave Trump air because they thought he would commit political suicide. Once they realized Trump Nation was real...they turned, but it was too late to stop his momentum.
"insurance policy" rules. They hate Trump/Trump Nation to this day...and would still do anything to take him out. What they don't realize is that Trump is like Rush Limbaugh...both are merely the point of the (Ideological) spear. If they take Trump out by nefarious means...Trump Nation will simply birth a more radical 'spear'/Leader. And given the blatant fact that Rule of Law/Equal Justice has went under the bus...it will no-holds-barred for said 'Leader'. And Trump Nation will support it.
They'd better sober up, up there. And support true and comprehensive evidence (not the half-truth version) and clean things up. Barr's honesty is all that stands between restoration of National Unity...or the opposite.
Given Cognitive Dissonance and Confirmation Bias...we'll probably do it the hard way.
