Yeah, I asked the black manager why they weren't discussing race. She said it was left up to each individual store to vote on it. Their store voted unanimously not to participate in the project.

Damn. Video games really are going to shite. I wish we could go back to when we pretended like women didn't play them and everyone got along fine. Back when developers were free to make good storylines and female characters didn't have to wear burkas. Players said whatever they wanted in chat and anyone who couldn't take the heat was free to leave. Thanks, Kotaku.

Perhaps they are learning it’s not good to piss off 1/2 of your consumers.
They have been slow learners and have done a lot of dumb things too. Ask Gillette and Disney.

What's 5.6 Billion?
I'll take Disney losses since they exposed themselves as pedophiles for $500

Can you elaborate on this? Did Starbucks really think this was a good idea?

People don’t want to play a lot of the newer AAA games because they shoehorn that shite into it whether it is a good idea or not.
IMHO, part of the reason that PRCD got hit so hard on Cyberpunk’s initial problems is that they had been targeted for Witcher 3 not having black or other groups in it and they said “… it’s medieval Germany. There weren’t black people.” The issues were legit but they pissed off people by not bending the knee.

Wonder how much of this has to do with Ron sticking it to the child predators at Disney.
110% of it.

That’s how it should be. I don’t GAF where XYZ company stands on any political issue.
Make a product, sell it, & STFU.

I'm not an investigator, but all you need to do to understand their opinion is look at who they donate to. These corporations are largely leftist organizations that have made it known who they support.
We all know who they pander to. We don't need to be told.
These companies need to get out of political contributions and reinvest in small town America. They'd win the hearts and minds of the people if they cut out the middle-man (politicians) and get back to good old fashioned philanthropy.
