I think masks are stupid as frick, but that’s not a study. It’s title clearly states it’s a hypothesis.

It's a hypothesis by a guy with a degree in exercise science who thinks that masks give you diabetes.

The fact that half of this board is stupid enough to think it's some sort of legitimate study is truly disturbing.

This will never penetrate the national consciousness just like the CDC report last week that it's nearly impossible to contract it from surfaces. I went to the store the other day and they still had people aggressively sanitizing carts.

He aggregated a bunch of existing scientific studies, are you saying they were all wrong? Let me guess, Dr. Faucci is a real scientist and knows way more than this guy

Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death

The people pushing this knew all of this. That’s why they are pushing it

No, he is 100 percent correct. This is a hypothesis paper originally posted in November 2020 to “medical Hypothesis”. It is a Journal for theoretical ideas: Medical Hypotheses says its purpose "is to publish interesting theoretical papers. The journal will consider radical, speculative and non-mainstream scientific ideas provided they are coherently expressed.
