Grievance has no rationality and no allegiance to the truth. It’s about increasing white guilt to increase Leftist control of the culture and line the pockets of really shitty people who think you suck on the basis of your skin color. can you direct me to some proof regarding this? i believe you, I just want to report it to the diocese. i’m good friends with several Baton Rouge seminarians who might be able to complain about this to the right people.

There is a Black National Anthem that was initially a poem by James Weldon Johson.
There isn't a BLM anthem.

FWIW I spoke to an older priest at st Agnes about 15-20 years ago.
He said, "if you are an orthodox catholic, do not send your child to SJA." He recommended redemptorist

I obviously reject on it's ludicrous face the racist concept that different races of American's have different "national" anthems. It is after all, one distinct country, not a collection of racial fiefdoms. I also reject the destructive racial separatism that is inherent in having a "black" national anthem. I'm not even particularly attached to the Star Spangled banner which is nearly impossible for most people to sing, I prefer America The Beautiful which is stirring and beautiful.

Yes. This all started in June when Skai Jackson called out SJA on twitter. Google it. That bad publicity worried SJA so SJA took the ball and ran with it. Hiring Dr. Albert as a consultant that would provide some training to the students. Probably not a bad thing.
Unfortunately, the recent Snapchat student issue moved everything into high gear. That is what caused these seminars to be scheduled this week. Parents were emailed that the seminars were happening but were given no detailed info on the content. Seems to me the presentation went off the rails when it was opened up to discussion with the audience.

You know as well as I, this isn't about "room", rather it's about the Federal money available. For example, my step son made a 29 on his ACT (subtle brag) and has all his schooling paid for.
He's a 20 year old white male that's using up the resources that could be better used by others.

If your daughters go to SJA, get them a small mini recorder that they can conceal and turn on and off easily.
Our daughters will be instructed to record this BS propaganda that they are trying to indoctrinate our kids with.
It should be eye opening to what they are trying to feed our kids.
