I'm sure there will be.

Together BR has deep pockets and their supporters are deadbeats without real jobs.

Per the BR Business Report, Together Baton Rouge is holding a "Community Civic Academy" on the St. George issue tonight. I'm sure it will be completely impartial with all sides represented.

If it's anything like the last one they hosted, I predict no more than 2 dozen will show, and half of those will be hosting it.

Don’t let them goad us into doing something stupid. You know they will try.

Was their any real attempt to demonstrate why we are all better together or was it just sloganeering?

I'm sure it drives Tangipahoa Parish's resident moron Dayne "Buy My Book" Sherman into a fit of rage. Every time The Advocate posted an article about St George, Sherman has to comment with the same comment calling it St George Wallace. He won't respond to you to explain his answers as he's a coward.

The goal of this meeting by Together Baton Rouge wasn't to sway people to their "facts", it was to muddy the waters and sow seeds of doubt in those who are leaning in the direction of support for SG, but aren't as informed as they should be. It's like Satan's goal: he doesn't want you to believe in him, just not to believe in God. They don't care if you become a sky screamer like them, just don't vote for SG in October.

He's a high school dropout who brags about having a masters degree in a soft major from Southeastern at a time when they'd admit anyone with a pulse.

Not just a high school dropout but a high school dropout from a high school in Tangipahoa parish. It wasn't that challenging.

Edit: I used to troll him by calling him Jay Sherman due to that episode of The Critic with the annoying sign and every article Shemran writes has to remind us how he's some famous author.

If you asked anybody in Ponchatoula about him, the top response would be "who the hell is Dayne Sherman?"
