Kids have a higher resistance to this than athletes do.

Homewood, Alabama, City Schools is having teachers put together "eDay plans" for kids to work from home. I imagine we'll see this panic hit schools shortly.

While not an identified vector, what about the teachers, admin, cafeteria? What about food and general cleanliness? I would bet if we have school over 50% of parents will not send their students to school.

State testing is starting soon. Our overlords will not let us shut down before we test. I could see them moving up testing and calling it for the summer.

The tests WILL happen either way.

Depends on how athletic they are.

What are parents that work retail or other non-office type jobs supposed to do with little Susie and Johnny while they work?

I have been thinking about how this plays out and closes schools will really frick shite up.

Might as well go to a complete quarantine and shut the whole country down to the end of the month.

Talk about 1st world problems. Sporting events are unnecessary gatherings of large groups of adults for entertainment purposes. Children going to school to further their education is not an unnecessary gathering.

Many colleges are "extending spring break".

And some public school districts have closed campuses due to potential outbreaks.
