The two obvious lefties in this thread don't like Sam or Andrew Dice Clay. What does that tell you?

Yeah, because the biggest act in comedy right now is being vulgar while reciting nursery rhymes.

I'm no Lefty, and I didn't say anything about Clay or Kinison personally, they just weren't that funny.

Their act was so amazing that it was replicated by nobody and any studio that attempted to capitalize on it was met with a failed project.

The left would hate Carlin now. He didn't believe in man-made climate change.

Carlin on climate change

Unlike Kinnison, Dice is still alive and does a couple of shows a year. You don't hear much about it though. He's gone far from selling out Madison Square Garden, he can't even seem to get a Netflix special.

I loved Dice back in the day but I can only guess his material isn't as good as it once was.

Kinnison, on the other hand, was solid til the day he died.

Today's Left would have Carlin tempted to vote Republican.

Nobody would pay him any mind. That gimmick wouldn't even be funny today.

Hell, it wasn't funny then.

I bet you're fun at parties.

I am actually.

Although the topic of irrelevant comedians never really comes up so nobody has to endure the pain of discussing bad comedy.

I don't think I have ever laughed as hard as the first time I watched Sam Kinnison.

He also doesn't like bombing brown people. The horror!

Kinison was good. Never listened to Dice.
