I think Pratt should start a new political party using this video. If you agree with everything he said, sign up. I'll be the first, but we do need a banker (looking at you Elon).

I sure am. I find some of the contributors here thoughtful and interesting, and I find their posts stimulating and thought-provoking. But I know almost nothing about most of them beyond what they contribute here.

I can differentiate between someone consciously choosing to visit a political discussion board and engaging with topics that interest her vs. surrendering one's attention to an algorithm that decides which celebrity opinions they should consume.

He’s got something, I don’t know what it is but i feel like since he’s been fricked so hard in the fire situation that I can trust this guy. I know he has negative feelings about how things are going as do many of us, especially as it relates to California.
He also doesn’t appear fake or like some Nancy boy.

You don’t think people CHOOSE which posts get brought here for discussion?
You don’t think some twitter personality can say something that others agree with without “surrendering to the algorithm”?
Social media posts are a common way to jumpstart discussion and debate and are no less legitimate than any other way someone chooses to begin a topic.
You come across like you think you’re above it all, yet here you are in these same threads.

I think that people are fed content through algorithms and react what they are fed, then they drive attention the content they are fed by re-posting it here.

I don't see why this has to be a choice between better understanding of post partum depression and the lives of those little kids.
It's ok to do better with PPD and also condemn the killing of small children, which is never ok.

Which is my whole point. The only reason anyone is talking about Spencer Pratt or being fed his content through algorithms on their preferred social media platform is because he was on a reality TV show on MTV 20+ years ago. If not for his status as an MTV Reality TV alum, it is extremely unlikely anyone here would be fed his content on social media. No one would be reposting it here.
