Clearly I'm referring to kafka who has not actually said what his part of the bet would be
I said clearly since even you quoted it

No, it's not clearly because you listed off a few different people, put a space between your comments and didn't conjoin the two thought processes like someone who actually speaks English should. But aside from that, it changes nothing. You're talking about challenging people to ban bets and then saying people should be permanently banned for not holding up to their end of something which is forbidden by the site rules anyhow.

This is no different than when you contradicted someone, told them they were wrong, and repeated the same frickin shite they had just said. And then tried to argue that since you said it first that somehow made them wrong in saying it as well. Once again, I don't give a shite about it one way or another except to point out how fricking stupid it is.

quote:

Only like 5 people have accepted, which is odd considering almost the entirety of the board claims that they disagree with me, and that I don't know what I'm talking about

If they were so confident, why aren't more people accepting the wager ?

6 months for FlTech
$500 with somebody ?? I don't even know who he is and he's not significant enough to remember but I'm sure he'll chime in here
kafka continues to claim some bullshite bet, which is fine, but he won't commit to his part

which i think should be a permanent ban across all boards , but he'd just create an alter anyhew

And predictably, once again, when you are called out for your stupidity you throw a tantrum about it.

"Hey everybody, ban bets are against the rules of this site, but I think people should be permanently banned when they don't live up to their prohibited ban bets anyways. ... That *I* challenge them to." for fricks sake.

when you use singular language you're referring to a singular person and that would refer to the last person that I had mentioned in my statement.

du'h

this is a tantrum?

You seem to be throwing a tantrum, trying to get me permanently banned for doing something I have not done

Are you one of the posters that keeps whining to the admins?

OBVIOUSLY I was referring to kafka
to which I said it wouldn't matter if we made a bet because he would create an altar anyway

for fricks sake is right

This is some frickin bizarre projection right here. Trying to get you banned?

Motherfricker, I'm doing no such thing. I'm calling you an idiot. YOU'RE the one talking about people being permanently banned. And you're continuing to prove just how much of an idiot you are with this blatantly obvious and stupid lie.

I don’t know anyone arguing Paxton is a good candidate. I’ve said from the beginning it would be close similar to Beto and Cruz, but Paxton ultimately wins because the alternative is worse.

Now with Talarico in the nut house, it’s over, over.

slow it down

What I said it would be pointless to make a bet with kafka
Any bet whatsoever ,, because he ,, singular
Tries to claim that he and I have made a bet about some Mexican hat dance A Mexican hat dance so this isn't serious; you are the one taking this way too seriously

So in reference to him I posted it should be a permanent ban across all boards on this site,

but then pointed out it was pointless to do so

because he would create an altar

That's not me calling for a permanent ban that's me saying it's pointless to make a ban with someone who would not honor the wager

And the reason I break it down is because more than a few of you seem to have a trouble of following along

so I break the sentences out so you can take it point by point.

I'm
slowing
it
down
for
you

Strangely enough, this is not going to make that much of a difference in the Democrat vote

Right. The Democrats would literally vote for an admitted homicidal maniac if party leaders told them to. Independents not so much though.

Easier for him to win now. It's the Dems voting. They will make it all work out.

Democrats have elected dead people using dead voters to do so. You have to decapitate and bury them if you want to win.

The most likely outcome is he pops back out and tries to make the GOP look silly I guess, but still, I don't think that's a gambit that makes a ton of sense (vs say, some virtual appearances if he really is still sick/recovering). Especially with rumors over the past few days.

From the NYT 20 minutes ago (I find it notable the NYT is joining in):

quote:

The last time James Talarico held an in-person campaign event was on Sept. 29, at a fund-raiser in New York City, his second there in two days. A day later he appeared virtually before a Hispanic business group, conducting his talk from a hotel room. He had come down with a cold, he told the audience, which he had intended to speak to in person.

Since then, Mr. Talarico has not done any campaign events — a striking absence from the campaign trail at a time when polls show him in position to be the first Democrat in a generation to win statewide in Texas.

His opponent in the Senate race, Ken Paxton, has been hammering Mr. Talarico over his absence for days, suggesting that Mr. Talarico was hiding some underlying problem that he did not want to divulge. On Wednesday, at a rally with President Trump, Mr. Paxton led the crowd of thousands in a chant: “Where is James Talarico?”

Mr. Talarico’s campaign said that the candidate has been recovering from the flu, and that he would return to the campaign trail this weekend. A spokesman for the campaign, JT Ennis, said that Mr. Talarico had held “more than 100 public events” and shaken “tens of thousands of hands” before getting sick.

The Talarico campaign has maintained a steady presence on social media and in emails to supporters, masking the candidate’s absence from live events. Still, the lack of participation by Mr. Talarico himself in any public events — or even in any private fund-raisers via video — caused even some of his supporters to worry.

Mr. Paxton and his Republican supporters have reveled in the moment, creating “missing posters” and demanding that Mr. Talarico pose for a photo holding a newspaper with the date visible to prove he is OK.

“Still no proof of life,” Mr. Paxton’s campaign wrote in an email blast on Friday. “Texans are still asking one simple question: Where’s Jimmy?”

During his last public appearance, before the U.S. Hispanic Business Council, Mr. Talarico explained that he was concerned about spreading his illness.

“I was starting to feel under the weather a few days ago,” he told the audience. “Last night it got so bad that I went to the urgent care here in Dallas and I was diagnosed with the flu and so I’m running a fever and I’m at my most contagious right now. I guess I’ve been shaking too many hands on the campaign trail. And so I want to keep everybody safe and you know, if I was passing on this illness to somebody and got someone’s grandmother or someone’s baby sick, I couldn’t live with myself. So I thought the best thing to do was to put safety first and put everyone’s health first.”

Mr. Talarico has not spoken in public since. Early voting in Texas begins on Oct. 19.

A smart campaign strategy would be to show up to the debate stage and ask Paxton when he will arrive.
