This is the same argument I made in 2015 to people who called themselves conservative were sky screaming over David Vitter and they constantly swore how the Louisiana Governor doesn't affect their life and the GOP legislature would keep John Bel Edwards in check.
It ignored reality as to how the Louisiana Governor is one of the most powerful executives in the country and the Governor is basically Emperor in Louisiana and rules by executive fiat and the legislature is wholly subservient to him and it's been that way since Huey Long ran roughshod over the legislature.
They didn't listen, chose instead to sky scream about Vitter and his hookers and look at them now pissing their pants over JBE and his lockdowns.
I kept telling them they were wrong in their predictions abut JBE and the legislature and we're still paying for it today.

Because people need to be dragged out of a cult. First the Q Anon people, but then others from there. We have a true enemy to face, and I’m happy to help them on their feet and bring reconciliation to them rather than the other way around.
