Little bit of both. Former Bush/McCain staff and consultants mixed with grifters who flamed out in GOP campaigns. Some like Wilson realized that it was more profitable to be against Trump than against Democrats as a “Republican”, while others like Schmidt just can’t stand that Trump did what he couldn’t for McCain. So there’s some pure hate mixed with a chance to make some money off of it.

They played a Lincoln Project ad on Fox & Friends this morning featuring Capt. “Sully” from the “ Miracle on the Hudson”. It was disgusting to say the least. He was urging Americans to vote Trump out of office. Those people are fools. /smh

They hate Trump and work vs Trump. They name themselves the Lincoln Project to signal that they are conservatives. At the end of the day they want to raise money using an organization name and line their pockets in the end.
